In the remote villages of Tharparkar, Sindh, Social Cooperation Initiative - SCI, with the support of READ Foundation UK, is advancing women’s economic empowerment through skills training, enterprise development, and strong market linkages.

SCI is equipping women with practical skills, providing start-up support, and offering ongoing coaching and mentoring to help them build sustainable livelihoods. By connecting women to markets, we are ensuring their businesses grow beyond subsistence.

The impact is immediate and tangible. Increased incomes are strengthening women’s decision-making power within households, supporting girls’ education, and positioning women as active, contributing members of society. Many are now role models, inspiring other women in their communities to step forward with confidence.

Together, we are building pathways toward dignity, resilience, and lasting change.

3rd Ramadan Food Distribution Drive

Social Cooperation Initiative - SCI its 3rd Ramadan Food Distribution Drive with the support of Zakat Foundation of America - Pakistan. During this activity, food packages were distributed among deserving families, and more than 100 people participated in the drive.

This initiative aimed to support vulnerable and underprivileged households during the holy month of Ramadan.
