پیما کی مرکزی مجلس شوریٰ کا دو روزہ اجلاس اسلام آباد میں اختتام پذیر ہوگیا، جس کی صدارت مرکزی صدر پیما پروفیسر عاطف حفیظ صدیقی نے کی۔ اجلاس کی نظامت مرکزی جنرل سیکرٹری ڈاکٹر احمد سلمان غوری نے کی اور معاونت مرکزی نائب صدر پروفیسر محمد طیب نے کی۔ اجلاس میں قومی سطح پر جاری سرگرمیوں، پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، تنظیمی امور، صحت عامہ سے متعلق آگاہی مہمات، ڈاکٹرز اور ہیلتھ کئیر کو درپیش اہم چیلنجز، غزہ سمیت اندرون و بیرون ملک میڈیکل ریلیف پروجیکٹس کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔ اجلاس میں ملک بھر سے شوریٰ اراکین، صوبائی صدور، مختلف شعبہ جات کے انچارجز اور صدر خواتین برانچ کی قیادت میں خواتین ذمہ داران نے شرکت کی۔

کوئٹہ میں ڈاکٹر ماہ نور پر تیزاب حملہ محض ایک انفرادی واقعہ نہیں بلکہ ڈاکٹرز کے خلاف بڑھتے ہوئے تشدد، قتل، ہراسانی، سوشل میڈیا ٹرائل اور منفی بیانیے کا ایک تسلسل ہے۔ ایک ایسے ملک میں جہاں پہلے ہی ڈاکٹرز کی شدید کمی ہے اور طبی عملہ محدود وسائل، غیر محفوظ ماحول اور مشکل حالات میں خدمات انجام دے رہا ہے، ایسے افسوسناک واقعات نہ صرف ڈاکٹرز کے حوصلے پست کرتے ہیں بلکہ صحت کے نظام کو بھی مزید کمزور بناتے ہیں۔

On World Hypertension Day, PIMA Hyderabad organized three awareness activities at Civil Hospital Hyderabad, CDF Hospital, and Shah Bhitai Hospital.

The sessions were led by renowned cardiologists and healthcare professionals, including Prof. Fasih Hashmi, Representative PIMA Women Branch Dr. Mehwish Naeem, Dr. Dureshewar, Dr. Yasmeen, and Dr. Sobia Fasih. Awareness walks were also organized as part of the campaign. More than 150 people participated in these awareness sessions.

PIMA Women Branch Karachi successfully organized Graduation Celebration 2026 on 6 May 2026, in a warm and memorable atmosphere for fresh graduate doctors. The event was arranged to celebrate the achievements of newly graduated doctors, encourage their professional growth, and strengthen their bond with fellow colleagues and the PIMA family.

The program was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Azra Jameel, whose inspiring address encouraged young graduates to pursue excellence with dedication, integrity, and compassion.

The event featured interactive discussions, career guidance, and fellowship activities, while speakers emphasized the importance of professional excellence alongside strong ethical and Islamic values in medical practice.

On 25 April 2026, PIMA Women Branch organized a Student Healthcare Assessment & Screening Camp at Baithak School, Scheme-33 Karachi, for children from a marginalized community. Volunteer doctors and dentists provided medical and dental check-ups, health assessments, referrals, and distributed hygiene kits.

Around 85 students aged 4–14 years were screened, and health records were prepared for follow-up care. The screening identified a high prevalence of malnutrition and anemia, especially among girls, along with common issues such as underweight, skin infections, respiratory problems, and worm infestations.
