Theme: “Our Everyday Essentials”

UGOOD and NACG Pakistan, in collaboration with Save the Children and the Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan, proudly commemorated International Human Rights Day 2025 on December 10, 2025, at the Save the Children Office, Islamabad.

🌍 The event brought together diverse segments of society — including youth, transgender persons, persons with disabilities, minority communities, CSOs, media, academia, and government representatives — all united to reaffirm that inclusive and fundamental rights must be protected for everyone.

🤝 This meaningful gathering highlighted our collective commitment to ensuring that human rights remain an essential part of everyday life, accessible, safeguarded, and upheld without discrimination.

🌟 Together, we continue striving for dignity, equality, and justice for all.

Finally, Cabinet decisions are enforced through Gazette notification. Child Domestic Labour is proscribed under the 1991 Child Employment Act - valid for ICT but provinces can adopt it through a simple provincial assembly resolution. First-time Child Domestic Labor proscribed in Pakistan.

Syed Ishtiaq Gilani CEO of the United Global Organization of Development - UGOOD hosting a National Secretaria of Child Rights Movement (CRM), Muhammad Arshed CEO of IDRAK hosted a National Secretariat National Action and Coordination Group - NACG Pakistan, and Mehwish Kayani a National Coordinate had the opportunity to meet with the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC) Ms. Ayesha Raza Farooq and Membet ICT Mr. Khalid Naeem to discuss how we can work together to protect and promote the rights of children in Pakistan. The meeting was incredibly informative and productive. Thank you NCRC Pakistan, for your dedication to ensuring that every child in Pakistan has access to their basic Rights.

United Global Organization of Development - UGOOD, NACG Pakistan, All Pakistan NGOs Alliance - APNA, and Pehli Kiran Schools Celebrated Universal Children's Day 2022 under the Theme: "Equality and Inclusion for Every Child" on November 17, 2022, in G-12 Islamabad. Mehwish Kayani conducted an interactive session on how to increase the involvement of Children in their own Protection. Syed Ishtiaq Gilani concluded the session on how to prevent and protect children from violence and Abuse.
