The Jammu Kashmir Students Organization successfully organized the “Kashmir Conference 2026” at the Academy of Letters, Islamabad, Pakistan. The conference was attended by students, political and social leaders, journalists, and people from different walks of life connected with the Kashmir cause in large numbers. The purpose of the conference was to highlight the Kashmir issue in academic, literary, and cultural ways.
The conference included panel discussions, poetry recitations (mushaira), debates, and folk music representing different regions. Speakers expressed their views on the Kashmir issue, human rights, and the role of youth, while poets highlighted the pain and suffering of Kashmir through their poetry.
Among the notable participants were Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Abid Abbasi, Dr. Ashraf Qureshi, Maaz Khan, Ayesha Attiq, Zonia Karim, and Hasham Muzaffar, along with other speakers. The speakers described JKSO’s efforts as a guiding platform for students. At the end, participants congratulated the organizers on the successful event.
