Assalam-o-alaikum, everyone and Ramadan Kareem! ⭐
"When the month of ramadan arrives, the doors of mercy are opened."
It's a tough time in the world, but thankfully Ramadan is here to distract us from the Corona worries for a while; giving us a perfect opportunity to seek Allah's help and mercy.
As you all know, Corona virus is the headline of every news channel internationally, becoming this century's own pandemic.
Most of us being doctors know the intensity of the disease, as well as the simplicity of its prevention.
I know you hear this multiple times a day, but I urge you once again, to STAY HOME.
As per today, April 25th, the confirmed cases in Pakistan have risen to a whopping 11,940; with 884 new cases in about 24 hours.
And without religious precautions, the curve will continue to rise, as per WHO.
So we can't possibly stress enough. We know it's been more than a month, and we know you're frustrated and home-bound. But you're doing everyone a favour. Your family, your neighbours, your fellow citizens. Keep going, that’s the only way we can overcome it.
We also strongly urge the trend of Ramadan ration drives, because what better time is there to give than ramadan?
Our less-fortunate citizens need our help the most these days, it's our time to give as much as we possibly can; especially considering the financial handicap the majority is facing due to the lockdown.
The Community Service Society had multiple plans for iftaars and donations for ramadan; much like done in the previous years, but since our plans have become slightly limited, we'll try to to the most we can throughout this holy month. And in Sha Allah, in all the months after that.
