Tax collection cannot be built on fear, harassment, or arbitrary powers. A modern tax system must clearly define the rights of taxpayers and the limits of tax authorities.

The Tax Payers Alliance Pakistan stands for a formal Taxpayers Bill of Rights that protects citizens, businesses, professionals, and compliant taxpayers from abuse of power.

Pakistan needs revenue, but revenue must be collected through law, fairness, and institutional accountability.

Pakistan’s income tax system has become too complex for ordinary taxpayers, small businesses, professionals, and even compliant companies to navigate with confidence.

A minimum flat income tax rate can help reduce confusion, limit unnecessary exemptions, broaden the tax base, and make compliance easier for individuals and businesses.

A complicated tax system punishes honest taxpayers and encourages avoidance. A simpler system creates transparency, predictability, and trust.
