YB considers youth to be the highest asset for the entire world and emphasizes providing services and opportunities to support all young people in developing a sense of a competence, encouragement, usefulness, engagement, belonging and empowerment. At the same time being a developing country fighting natural and manmade disasters for decades now, it is one of the countries having pitiable state of
education, health and economic activities. Pakistan’s rapidly increasing working age population is directionless and unaware of the opportunities present both within the country and in the international market. About 1.7 million people enter the potential work force each year in Pakistan and considering the backlog of 3.7 million it gives a grim situation. With an average growth rate of 3% against the required rate of 7% a year we cannot expect youth to end up getting jobs as they graduate. This situation worsens when directionless youth without jobs or any other productive activity gets frustrated and ends up in crime or terrorism. Instead of leaving it all to the government to attend to the negative consequences of this ‘youth bulge’ we have established a platform (Youth Burst) for youth to give direction, to educate them about available opportunities, to help them identify their niche, to guide them how to grab opportunities, to give them a voice to share their concerns, to address their problems, and to make them productive citizens. It also provides opportunities to the citizens who wish to give back to the society to help less privileged youth in becoming a productive citizen of the country
WHAT WE OFFER? In order to engage youth to make them realize their potential, to develop on their strengths and to relate it with the available opportunities we offer the following services:
1. Academic counseling: Refining your aim, identifying the course of study in accordance with your aim in life, university selection and securing admissions.
2. Scholarships & admissions abroad: Assistance in identification of the most relevant scholarships and university, complete guidance on how to write a winning application, improving your expression and essay writing skills.
3. Career advisory: Assistance in career planning, how to look for a job, how to prepare your CV, what to expect in a job interview and more.

5. Research & Surveys: Participate in researches and surveys on youth and modern day challenges and present them to the concerned authorities and donors i.e. Youth Ministry, HEC, Education Ministry, PMDC, PEC, PEEF & related international & national organizations i.e. The World Bank, DFID, USAID, United Nations, ILO, IFC, etc..
6. Rewarding implementable ideas: We act as a platform for youth with brilliant ideas. These ideas will be shared on our website, publications and during promotional events with the relevant authorities whenever and wherever possible. All efforts will be made to project these ideas at the forums that can attract funding or rewards.
7. Volunteerism & community work: Volunteer work will range from running a campaign for saving lives, (donating blood, raising awareness for traffic discipline, taking mentoring sessions, teaching), behavioral change (inculcating positivity in the society), green Pakistan, and much more (Each member will get a certificate for volunteerism or community work.)
8. Meet industry leaders and experts: To get a firsthand review of what is required by the industry meet the industry leaders and HR experts. We will organize these meet and greet events as ice breakers for youth to interact with the industry experts.
9. Personal mentoring sessions: In order to identify and refine your aim and pursue a career that is best suited to your abilities and liking, register for a personal mentoring session. Our experts with international exposure will help you identify your aim and assist you in making a strategy to pursue it.
