Street Children Welfare Foundation

Street Children Welfare Foundation SCWF is dedicated to work for the most vulnerable members of society through immediate relief.

At Street Children Pakistan Welfare Trust (SCPWT), Our mission is to create positive change in Pakistan by providing access to basic necessities and skills development programs that empower vulnerable communities and provide them with a safe and nurturing environment, where they can receive the love, support, and education they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities. I

nspired by the teachings of Islam and the example of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we strive to serve those in need with compassion and generosity. Our efforts include providing food packages and clean water access to those in remote and underprivileged areas. We also offer skills development programs to help individuals learn and earn, giving them the tools they need to support themselves and their families. Our focus is on helping vulnerable communities thrive and excel, following the principles of Islam that call on us to care for the less fortunate. We are committed to transparency and accountability in our work, ensuring that the resources entrusted to us are used in the most effective and efficient manner possible. We rely on the generosity of our donors to fund our work, and we are grateful for their support in helping us make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Thank you for considering Street Children Pakistan Welfare Trust as a worthy cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable communities and help Pakistan reach its full potential.

Our Special Assistance Programme is a rapid-relief initiative built for families overwhelmed by urgent and immediate needs they simply cannot manage on their own. Through this programme, we step in wherever the need is greatest, helping families regain stability and peace of mind.

Our latest case: a family where both parents live with chronic illness, trapped in a cycle of borrowing just to afford medicine and unable to pay off the debt. Alhamdulillah, through this initiative, we cleared their debts in full and provided a bulk supply of their prescribed medicines, relief they said they could never have managed in their lifetime.

Support this programme and help us reach more people who are in immdiate need of relief.

During our deployment with Jigsaw Charity, we visited our solar-powered water plant in Jamrud, District Khyber, for a monitoring visit, checking the condition of the tanks, water quality, and the solar system, along with the overall impact it's had on the community. Alhamdulillah, everything was working exactly as it should, and the difference it's made for these families is immense.

We also sat with local leaders to understand what other hardships the community continues to face. Among the most pressing issues raised was access to education, especially for girls, due to a severe lack of schools in the area. Basic healthcare facilities were nearly non-existent as well.

These are communities that have been neglected for far too long, and we remain committed to standing with them, working toward real, lasting improvement in their lives.

Support our work in these communities.

During our recent deployment with Jigsaw Charity, we inaugurated a new grocery store near the Afghan border in Khatta Khushta, under our Sustainable Livelihoods Programme, which works on Waqf fund Model.

Instead of receiving one-time aid, the shop owner repays flexible monthly installments based on their earnings, and that money goes right back into funding the next livelihhod for another family in need. Alhamdulillah, this is how charity becomes a cycle, turning aid recipients into active givers within their own community.

An evening spent with the families of brick kiln labourers, people who work tirelessly, day after day, often without recognition or relief. Providing them with financial assistance, shared a wholesome dinner together, and brought some gifts for their kids, small gestures, but ones that carried a lot of warmth. Moments like these remind us that dignity isn't just about aid, it's about showing up, sitting together, and making people feel valued.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners, Jigsaw Charity , for making this day possible. 🤍

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever relieves a believer's distress in this world, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Muslim)

For someone without a wheelchair, even the simplest things, reaching a doorway, sitting with family, stepping outside for fresh air, can feel impossible. That's the distress we're hoping to relieve. We're fundraising to provide 30 wheelchairs to individuals in dire need, people our team has already identified through a survey, each one waiting quietly for a chance to move freely again.

Donate today, and be the relief someone has been waiting for.

In our recent meeting with rehab patients and their parents, we worked to understand the core reasons behind their relapse. It was an important conversation, one that went beyond just the individuals themselves, to really listen to what their families have witnessed and experienced alongside them.

Two main factors came up again and again: unemployment, which leaves these young men without purpose or a path forward, and easy access to drugs outside, which makes staying clean an uphill battle. On top of that, the difficulty of reintegrating into society due to stigma often pushes them right back into old environments and old habits.

We are determined to work towards addressing these factors, whether that means creating employment opportunities, strengthening community support, or helping change the way society sees and welcomes these individuals back. Because recovery shouldn't stop at rehabilitation, it should lead to a real second chance at life and the normal happy life every one of them deserves.
