Electricity Governance Initiative_ Pakistan The EGIl toolkit presents a framework to assess decision making process and governance in electricity sector.

The toolkit has been successfully implemented in different countries and produced strong evidence for advocacy and contributed to the improvement of electricity governance. The “EGI Assessment toolkit” comprises research questions to assess, governance capacity in electricity policy and regulatory processes in different countries. Since 2003, coalitions of civil society organizations and independe

nt research institutions in India, Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa, Brazil, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines have used the EGI Indicator Toolkit to conduct assessments of governance of their country's electricity sector.
