NUST Community Services Club ( NCSC )

NUST Community Services Club ( NCSC ) NCSC is a student-run volunteer non-profit. NCSC is a non-profit, student-run volunteer organization committed to community service and social welfare.

To this end, it conducts several short-term events and long-term projects aimed at community equity, justice, and welfare. NUST Community Service Club (NCSC) was founded on December 27th, 2007, by Dr. Ijaz Ahmed Qureshi, a then Assistant Professor at NUST's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. lothes Donation Drive, Ration Drive, Eye Camp, and Baat Cheet -and long-term projects- like Orphans kNOw More, Fempower, Al-Qalam, and Elevate.

The hallmark of effective communication isn't just keeping up with email threads, it’s making sure people actually pay attention. And let’s be honest, Syed Ali Raza Kazmi managed to do the impossible this tenure: he made sure everyone remembered.

Ali is NCSC's brand ambassador, who else is going to give NCSC the loudest shoutouts at all the mega events across NUST? He held the narrative together, keeping every post perfectly timed and ensuring the campus community knew we existed loudly and proudly.

This tenure would have been a silent, disorganized blur without his vision, hype, and relentless creativity. Because at the end of the day, Alestro never loses.

One could call her Jack Sparrow with the way she's protected NCSC's treasure chest all tenure long.

Meet Noor: our Treasurer and the keeper of every budget, every receipt, and every rupee. A sweet soul with a remarkably keen eye. Calm, dependable, and always one step ahead, she made one of the toughest jobs look effortless.

Some treasures are meant to be kept safe. Ours was the one keeping them safe all along.

Say hi (and goodbye) to our General Secretary, Mutahir who is loved by everyone (yes, even the instagram account that rhymes with "toast").

If NCSC was a house of cards (and it usually is with everyone upholding and supporting each other) then Mutahir is at the base line, the front soldier.

From approvals and endless follow-ups to solving problems no one else wanted to deal with, he did it all. Good at breaking things (particularly graduation gifts), but even better at holding the fort and piecing it all back together.

We learned a lot from him, but perhaps the biggest lesson was this: don't let your degree get in the way of your real career; being the greatest NCSC has ever had.

NCSC’s Team HR is no stranger to the tedious process of dealing with never ending forms, deadlines and keeping up with people to pick up the slack. Yet, they manage to do it all with such elegant grace you’d be surprised that they call themselves the “firing squad”.
