Independence Day celebrations were held across Punjab. Saiban-e-Pakistan, in collaboration with PPAF and the Centre of Excellence for National Cohesion & Outreach, organised celebrations at St. Joseph Hospice Association, Rawalpindi; Territorial HQ The Salvation Army Pakistan, Lahore; St. Peter & Paul Cathedral, Faisalabad; and Government Ajmal Bagh High School, Sadiqabad.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Lions Youth Council (PLYC), held an Independence Day gathering at its office in Khanewal, which also featured a plantation activity promoting environmental responsibility.

These events are part of the nationwide โ€œTogether, We Are for a Resilient and Rising Pakistanโ€ campaign, implemented by PPAF in collaboration with the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Prime Ministerโ€™s Youth Programme, Paigham-e-Pakistan, and provincial CVE departments.

As part of the nationwide "Together, We Are for a Resilient and Rising Pakistanโ€ campaign, led by PPAF in collaboration with the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety, Ministerโ€™s Youth Programme, Paigham-e-Pakistan, and provincial CVE departments, Independence Day celebrations in and , Gilgit-Baltistan, turned patriotism into meaningful community action.

In Shigar, GBRSP engaged young volunteers in a cleanliness drive at Blind Lake, while in Fairy Meadows, Gunar Farm, District Diamer, Hashoo Foundation, in collaboration with PPAF and the District Administration Diamer, led a community cleanliness initiative.

The activities promoted responsible citizenship, environmental stewardship, proper waste management and community ownership of natural spaces, highlighting that celebrating independence also means taking responsibility for protecting Pakistanโ€™s environment and building a cleaner, greener and more resilient future.

The spirit of Pakistanโ€™s 79th Independence Day resonated across communities in Umerkot and Badin, as PPAFโ€™s civil society partners brought together children, youth, families, teachers and community members to celebrate freedom, unity and national pride.

PPAFโ€™s partner organisations Mountain and Glacier Protection Organization - MGPO, Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Programme, and Mountain Institute for Education & Development - MIED brought communities together in , , , and through activities celebrating Pakistanโ€™s 79th Independence Day.
