Human Rights Council in collaboration with YMNA, MASHAL, Qau Students Club, and Soch Aurat are organising an event on 27 December, 2025 presenting a motivational dialogue on democracy and human rights
Democracy which is not only confined to elections and voting. Though it is a system which allows the citizens to select their representative head upholding their fundamental human rights. A massive responsibility of ensuring that justice, equality and dignity of human rights are prevailed in everyday life. As it is defined, "Government of the people, by the people for the people". This event will provide valuable insight regarding democracy as a constitutional governance not a mere mob rule. Equality of citizens regardless of their religion, freedom in belief and expression highlighting the core theme that human rights are central not a secondary priority.
Democracy should be aimed to improve rights. Jinnah the founder the Pakistan provided a significant emphasis on law and justice within a country.
