YANG – Youth Action for a New Generation
Welcome to YANG, a dynamic youth-led organization focused on empowering young individuals to lead the way in climate action, sustainable development, and global education in Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and equip the next generation of leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to address global challenges and drive change. Our programs focus on youth-led climate action, building resilience, and promoting sustainability. By providing hands-on learning, leadership development, and innovative solutions, we help young people become active advocates for the environment and future leaders in the push for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our work spans a range of areas, from renewable energy and sustainable agriculture to climate justice and environmental conservation. We foster youth-driven initiatives, raising awareness, and encouraging collaborative action for a greener future. Through workshops, community outreach, and leadership programs, we engage youth in meaningful ways, ensuring they have the tools to create lasting impact. YANG is committed to building a global network of change-makers, collaborating with communities, NGOs, and government bodies to amplify the voices of youth. Together, we can create a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient world. Join YANG and become part of the movement for a greener, cleaner future.

Cow Dung: From Waste to a Valuable Resource

Cow dung is more than just farm waste—it can be a valuable resource for organic farming, composting, biogas production, and improving soil health. By using it wisely, we can reduce waste, support sustainable agriculture, and contribute to a cleaner environment.

As highlighted by Shirazi village vlogs simple traditional practices can play an important role in building more sustainable and climate-friendly communities.

Waste isn’t always waste—sometimes, it’s a resource waiting to be used..

Today, Youth Action for Next Generations (YANG) joined hands with young changemakers for a Cleanliness Drive at City Park, Skardu transforming awareness into real action.

Our mountains are our lifeline, and safeguarding them begins with simple steps: picking up litter, respecting public spaces, and inspiring others to do the same. Each act of care adds up to a cleaner, healthier tomorrow.

Let’s make our planet a place where cleanliness isn’t just a campaign, it’s a daily commitment.
