Farewell to Fazli Subhan – A Legacy of Vision, Leadership, and Impact
We bid farewell to Fazli Subhan, whose remarkable journey with Hult Prize Pakistan has been defined by passion, purpose, and transformational leadership.
Fazli first joined the Hult Prize movement in 2018, supporting the OnCampus Program at his university. In 2022, he returned as Campus Director, where his creativity and impact quickly stood out — leading one of the most successful OnCampus programs in the region and earning nominations for both Regional and Global Program of the Year Awards.
Recognizing his outstanding leadership, Fazli was appointed National Coordinator of Hult Prize Pakistan in 2022. Over the next three years, he led one of the most transformative chapters in the program’s history. Under his guidance, Hult Prize Pakistan expanded its reach to over 150 universities, engaging thousands of students and startups nationwide — making Pakistan the largest Hult Prize community in the world.
Through his inclusive and empathetic approach, Fazli took Hult Prize to areas where it was needed most — from the mountains of Chitral and Kashmir to the heart of Balochistan, Pakistan’s least-developed yet resource-rich province. Before his tenure, there was zero Hult Prize presence in Balochistan; within two years, Fazli and his team built partnerships with 20+ universities, with over half successfully completing OnCampus programs and participating in Nationals — many for the very first time.
Fazli also redefined what community recognition looked like within the Hult ecosystem. He introduced the Pakistan Organizers Impact Awards, a one-of-its-kind initiative celebrating Campus Directors and Organizing Committees for their hard work and leadership — honoring over 20 outstanding contributors nationwide. Pakistan was also the only country in the world to host a three-day National Summit, providing full boarding, lodging, and local transportation not only to participating startups but also to National Team, Campus Directors and Organizing Committees, along with intercity travel for Startups, National Team and top CDs/OCs — ensuring that every member of the Hult Prize family felt valued, seen, and celebrated.
His leadership was grounded in humility and respect — always putting others before himself and making sure everyone, from startups to organizers, felt like the true VIPs of the program. This empathy, inclusivity, and genuine care became the foundation of Hult Prize Pakistan’s culture and success story.
Fazli’s legacy also includes the creation of a vibrant, connected, and energized national community. His vision and strategy built strong partnerships with HEC, universities, incubators, experts, and organizations, creating a lasting ecosystem for social innovation and youth empowerment across Pakistan.
We express our deepest gratitude to Fazli Subhan for his tireless efforts, exceptional leadership, and the deep sense of purpose he brought to Hult Prize Pakistan.
Fazli’s legacy will continue to guide and inspire the Hult Prize community — in Pakistan and beyond.
Thank you, Fazli - your impact will be remembered for years to come.🇵🇰
