PFFB Audio Describe Movie Screening May 7, 2026.

Audio-described films for people with visual impairments are almost nonexistent in Pakistan, as accessibility continues to be overlooked by the mainstream cinema industry. Through this initiative, the Pakistan Foundation Fighting Blindness (PFFB) is creating an inclusive platform that empowers the visually impaired community with equal access to information, learning, and entertainment, while also promoting intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, Pakistan Foundation Fighting Blindness successfully organized a special screening of an audio-described movie for visually impaired individuals. More than 50 visually impaired participants, along with their families, attended and enjoyed the experience, marking an important step toward accessible entertainment and inclusion in Pakistan.
