Livelihoods program is integrated into three major areas of interventions, which are: a) natural resource management, b) enterprises development and c) micro finance. ii) Water and Sanitation (WatSan) program focuses on safe drinking water supply, solid waste management, sanitation and health hygiene services in KP
iii) Health program has two basic components, which are: mother and child health (MCH), and awareness on communicable diseases (hepatitis B, C and HIV, scabies, diarrhea and other preventable ailments). iv) Human and Institutional Development (HID) program provides capacity building opportunities to local CBOs, NGOs, and small community based enterprises and public sector organizations
Education program focuses on basic needs of primary education with particular emphasis on girls’ education and adult literacy in the rural communities. vi) Women Empowerment Program emphasis is to enhance role of women in decision making, access to resources, equal participation in all spheres of life, reduce incidents of human rights and violence against women. vii) Disaster Management/Climate Change program helps communities in disaster mitigation, risk reduction, preparedness and disaster management in the disaster prone areas.
