Child Protection Committees Islamabad Under the Plan 15 Child Protection Committees will be organised.

Ministry of Human Rights, National Child Protection Centre (NCPC) Government of Pakistan Islamabad established Child Protection Committees under Work plane 2018-2019. Ministry of Human Rights, National Child Protection Centre (NCPC) Government of Pakistan Islamabad established Child Protection Committees under Work Plane 2018-2019. The Committees are being formed to assist NCPC, Ministry of Human

Rights in coping with issues of Child Protection at ICT level. These Committees will ensure people participation in resolving Child Protection issues by joining their hands with Government Authorities. Main Objectives:

- To provide temporary shelter to the homeless, street and runaway children and those who are in need of such protection.

- To provide rehabilitation, reinforcement, reintegration and referral services to the children at risk. To provide psychological counselling and referral services to abused and exploited children.

- Awareness raising on the Rights of the Children and issues of Child Protection.

-To provide social, legal, medical and other assistance, including bridge gap educational facility required to the Children (NFE)

Apart from theses services, the committees will also provide non-formal education to the children involved in beggary and to mainstream them in regular Government Schools.
