👨⚕️ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗻
A distinguished psychiatrist from Banda Piran Baffa, began his academic and professional journey at King Edward Medical College. In the 1970s, he earned a Diploma in Psychological Medicine from England and became the first psychiatrist of the Hazara region.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Irfan served at the Government Mental Hospital Dhodial, dedicating his life to the promotion of mental health, patient care, and public awareness. His commitment to the well-being of society earned him immense respect among colleagues, patients, and the wider community.
Retirement did not diminish his passion for service. Instead, he established Irfan Neuropsychiatry Hospital Mansehra, further strengthening access to quality mental healthcare in the region and continuing his mission of compassionate patient care.
Following in his footsteps, his sons, Dr. Naveed Irfan and Dr. Saeed Irfan, have also made significant contributions to the medical profession and public service, proudly carrying forward their father's legacy of excellence, dedication, and humanity.
Today, the third generation of the family—including Dr. Elisbah Naveed, Dr. Ahsan Naveed Irfan, Dr. Arsh-e-Mah Saeed, Dr. Sabiha Saeed, Dr. Shehbaz Khan, and Sana Khurshid, along with other young family members—are excelling in their respective fields and continuing to build upon a tradition of achievement and service.
This is not merely the success story of one family; it is a living testament to the power of education, integrity, and selfless service. When one generation lays a strong foundation of knowledge, character, and dedication, future generations are empowered to reach even greater heights.
The Irfan family stands as an inspiring example of how sincerity, education, perseverance, and service to humanity can transform not only individual lives but the destiny of generations.
