The release of Kambeer Baloch after his enforced disappearance brings relief to his family, friends, and all those who consistently raised their voices for his recovery.
His return is a reminder that collective resistance can make a difference. At the same time, it highlights the continuing crisis of enforced disappearances faced by the Baloch Nation, particularly Baloch students and political activists.
While we welcome his safe release, many others still remain missing, and their families continue to endure uncertainty and pain. The demand for justice, accountability, and the immediate recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons remains unchanged.

Call For X Campaign

BSC Islamabad is launching a X( formerly Twitter) campaign against the enforced disappearance of Kambeer Baloch in Islamabad. The continuous targeting, harassment and enforced disappearances of Baloch students have become an alarming reality that demands urgent attention from every conscious voice.

We urge students, civil society members, journalists, and human rights advocates to raise their voices against these injustices and stand in the fight of survival.

Applicants for BS and Pharm.D programmes are advised to register for and appear in the HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), as a valid USAT result is mandatory for admission.

Kambeer khan son of Ali Muhammad who is a student of Archeology at Qau and member of BSC Islamabad, was forcibly disappeared yesterday at around 9:00 PM near I-8 Markaz, Islamabad. His disappearance has once again raised serious concerns about the safety and security of Baloch students who are already living under constant fear and surveillance.

The repeated targeting of Baloch students cannot be normalized. Educational spaces are being turned into spaces of fear, where students are punished simply for their Identity.

We strongly condemn the enforced disappearance of Kamber Baloch and demand his immediate and safe release.

A detailed statement regarding this incident will be shared later.

سندھ کے علاقے کشمور میں بلوچ کلچر ڈے منانے پر مولوی کی طرف سے مزاری اسٹوڈنٹس ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن کے ممبران اور انکے خاندان کے افراد کو غیر منطقی جواز کی بنیاد پر ہراساں کرنا اور ان کے خلاف مختلف فتوے جاری کرنا ایک ناقابلِ برداشت اور قابلِ مذمت عمل ہے۔

ترجمان نے اپنے جاری کردہ بیان میں کہا ہے کہ حال ہی میں سندھ کے علاقے کشمور میں بلوچ طلبا کی جانب سے "بلوچ کلچر ڈے" کے مناسبت سے ایک ثقافتی اور روایات سے بھرپور تقریب کا انعقاد ایک قابلِ ستائش اقدام ہے۔ اپنی شناخت، زبان اور ثقافت کو زندہ رکھنا باشعور اقوام کی پہچان ہوتی ہے۔ بلوچ قوم صدیوں سے سندھ میں آباد ہے اور سندھ کے دیگر باشندوں کی طرح وہاں رہنے والے بلوچوں کو بھی اپنی ثقافت منانے اور اس کی افادیت اجاگر کرنے کا پورا حق حاصل ہے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ثقافتی دن منانا کسی بھی صورت میں مذہب یا معاشرتی اقدار کے خلاف نہیں کیونکہ ثقافت اور مذہب امن اور سلامتی کو فروغ چاہتی ہے، بلکہ یہ ایک مثبت سرگرمی ہے جو مختلف قومیتوں کے درمیان ہم آہنگی، رواداری اور بھائی چارے کو فروغ دیتی ہے۔ ایسے تقاریب نوجوان نسل کو اپنی جڑوں سے جوڑنے اور اپنی پہچان پر فخر کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرتے ہیں۔

ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ ایک طرف سندھ میں منظم حکمت عملی کے تحت بلوچ شناخت کو ختم کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے، جہاں بلوچ قوم کو منظم ہتکھنڈوں کے زریعے دیگر شناختوں کے ساتھ ملایا جا رہا ہے، جبکہ دوسری جانب مولوی عبدالعزیز کی جانب سے کلچر ڈے تقریب کو فحاشی کا نام دینا ناقابلِ برداشت امر ہے۔ بلوچوں کو مختلف قسم کی دھمکیاں دی جا رہی ہیں، جن میں سماجی بائیکاٹ اور جنازے نہ پڑھانے جیسی سنگین دھمکیاں بھی شامل ہیں۔ اس طرح کے اقدامات نہ صرف سماجی ہم آہنگی کو نقصان پہنچاتے ہیں بلکہ اس طرح کے تقریب کو منفی انداز میں عوام کے سامنے لانا معاشرے میں سماجی تضاد پیدا کرنے کی مترادف ہے۔

ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ ہم مزاری اسٹوڈنٹس ویلفیئر کے دوستوں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں، اور ایسوسی ایشن کی طرف سے کیے گئے بلوچ کلچرل پروگرام کی مکمل حمایت کرتے ہیں۔ ہم حکامِ بالا سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ اس طرح کے مولوی حضرات کے خلاف فوری کارروائی کی جائے تاکہ ایسے واقعات کی روک تھام ممکن ہو سکے۔
