Roshni Trust aims to become a trustable facilitator among donor and needy in general and QAU in particular. MoFiD is a Project of Roshni Trust, a charity based organization at QAU, to help the needy in their mess/food bill, in case they need it. It also helps you if you do not need such support but want to become a volunteer or donor for just one meal to one month’s meals for such needy ones. MoFi

D project aims to link donor with needy anonymously without putting the needy into any embarrassment. We want to collect those scattered helping souls in society, who are willing to sponsor one to two meals per month and then pass it on to those who are in real need. We are seeking to become the link between those noble souls and the needy ones, especially QAU students to begin with. Hence, Roshni Trust has built this linking network to become a bridge and pool such rain drops and transfer it to people in need. موضوع: روشنی ٹرسٹ کے QAU اسٹوڈنٹ لون پروجیکٹ کے لیے چھوٹے عطیات کی درخواست
یہ عرض کرنا ہے کہ آنے والے موسم خزاں کے سمسٹر سے، روشنی ٹرسٹ QAU کے ضرورت مند طلباء کو قرض کی شکل میں مدد فراہم کرے گا۔ جس کو ایک طالب علم نے سمسٹر یا ڈگری کے بعد واپس کرنا ھے ۔

اس کا مقصد فنڈز کا ایک ایسا مستقل تالاب بنانا ہے جہاں سے ایک طالب علم ضرورت کے وقت مدد لے اور دوسرے ضرورت مند طالب علموں کو فائدہ اٹھانے کے لیے اسے واپس کردے۔
ایسا تالاب بنانے کے لیے ہم فنڈ ریزنگ مہم چلا رہے ہیں۔ براہ کرم یہ نوٹ کرلیں کہ پچھلے سمسٹر میں آپ کی مالی اور اخلاقی مدد سے ہم نے روشنی ٹرسٹ اسکالرشپ کی مد میں 10 لاکھ سے زائد کی رقم دی ھے۔
اب ہم اسی سکالر شپ کے منصوبے کو سٹوڈنٹ لون (student loan) کے منصوبے میں تبدیل کر رھے ھیں

ہم اگلے دو مہینوں یعنی اگست اور ستمبر میں آپ سے 100 سے 500 روپے کے چھوٹی سے عطیہ کی درخواست کرتے ہیں۔

Subject: Request of small donations for QAU student loan project of Roshni Trust

This is to submit that from coming fall semester, Roshni trust will provide help to needy students of QAU in the form of students loan. The aim is to make a permanent pool of funds from where a needy takes help and return the same for allowing other needy to take benefit from.
For making such a pool we are running fund raising campaign.

Please note that in the last semester with your kind financial and moral support we gave more than a million in the form of Roshni trust scholarship, which from now onward, we are turning to students loan project of QAU

This time Roshni trust is providing partial help to QAU students in tuition fee in the form of soft loan, which the student has to return within a semester or after degree. The given form is for assessing the applicants. Please note that the main supporters of Roshni Trust are Charity Australia International (CAI) via Al-Khdimat Foundation Karachi Pakistan, current students/staff, Alumni, old staff of QAU and other well-wishers. However, the total funds always remain short of the required demands of QAU students. Alhamdulilah with your kind support Roshni Trust has provided partial support of 708546 (about 0.7 million) to 44 students in this semester including those refereed by the faculty of QAU. In addition, some cases are still under process.

Subject: Introduction of MoFiD food project of ROSHNI TRUST QAU:
Let me introduce MoFiD Food project for those who are not aware about it.

MoFiD stands for mobilizing first drop under which we sponsor food of a needy students at Majeed huts or hostel mess in QAU since November 2020.

Under this project we aim to link donors with needy anonymously without putting the needy into any embarrassment. We want to collect those scattered helping souls in society, who are willing to sponsor one to two meals per month and then pass it on to those who are in need. We are seeking to become the link between those noble souls and the needy ones, especially QAU students to begin with. Hence, Roshni Trust has built this linking network via MoFiD to become a bridge and pool such drops and transfer it to needy.

Procedure for availing MoFiD Code.

We ask needy students to fill in online form available on page of ROSHNI TRUST. After the form is received and processed, we then with complete protection of privacy and self-respect, send a MoFiD code to students through WhatsApp. Which he show at Majeed huts and Majeed huts provide him two times meal. At the end of 15 days Majeed huts send food bill of all code holders and Roshni Trust pay the bill.

We submit appeal for collection of funds and those who are willing to help, transfer funds directly to Roshi Trust Account No: 01500 39000 4256 Askari Bank QAU from any bank including EasyPaisa and JazzCash. Swift code is ASCMPKKA (for overseas donors)
Currently 40 to 50 students are using codes and getting food in a very respectful way. At huts even if donor is in front of needy, neither donor knows that this the student, he is sponsoring nor the needy knows that this is the donor he is getting help from. But both are being matched via MoFiD.

We want to make a model where the protection of self respect is top priority before providing any help.

Online form of ROSHNI TRUST scholarship requires a code from schorlship office/section of QAU . In this regard, some students of QAU are asking about the whereabout of scholarship office?
It is in the administration block of QAU. From parking side turn right. Ask there about scholarships section. Get one page hard copy. Fill it and submit it there. They will give you a code. Use that code when filling the first question of online form of RT scholarships. The objective of this exercise is to take Scholarships section of QAU officially on board in this process and further improve and strengthen this process. This will also help in bringing more transparency by double checking the data.

We try our best to provide partial support to needy students of QAU, but we cannot commit if funds fall short.
