The Earth is not merely a resource to be used, but a living system that sustains and shelters us. Every breath we take, every drop of water we drink, and every moment of life we experience is deeply connected to its balance. It is not in our possession—we are part of its care, responsibility, and protection. Safeguarding the environment is, in essence, safeguarding our own future and the generations to come.

At CHEF-I, we believe that nurturing a healthier tomorrow goes hand in hand with protecting our planet today. Through awareness, action, and responsibility, we strive to promote sustainable living and climate consciousness in the communities we serve.

Let’s talk about it. One in every three Pakistanis is silently struggling with mental health challenges, often without support, understanding, or a safe space to speak. Behind smiles and daily responsibilities, many are carrying invisible emotional weight that affects their wellbeing, relationships, and quality of life. Breaking the silence starts with awareness, empathy, and open conversations that normalize seeking help and supporting one another.

1.2M+ students have been screened through the PIRS–HDF School Screening Program, ensuring early identification of vision and hearing concerns among school-going children. This initiative strengthens the foundation of learning by detecting issues at an early stage, helping every child see, hear, and learn without barriers. Early screening is not just a service—it is a step toward equal opportunity and a healthier, more inclusive future for all children.

Empowering Communities through Capacity Building in Rajanpur
Under the Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience (RSS&CR) project, CHEF International has successfully completed a comprehensive series of 49 trainings across eight villages within the Union Councils of Rakh Fazilpur and Bur’rey Wala in District Rajanpur. Implemented with the financial support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), this initiative has directly benefited over 700 individuals by strengthening local resilience and preparedness.
The program included specialized capacity-building sessions for Emergency Response Teams (ERTs), Disaster Risk Management trainings for both health staff and community members, and Community Management Skills Trainings (CMSTs). By equipping diverse stakeholders with essential skills, the project has fostered a more proactive, organized, and community-led approach to crisis management and service delivery in the district.
This milestone reflects a significant step toward long-term sustainability and climate resilience, ensuring that the communities of Rajanpur are better prepared to anticipate, respond to, and mitigate future challenges.

Empowering Artisans through the Ba-Ikhtiyar Women Project

The Ba-Ikhtiyar Women Project is reaching a significant milestone as the dressmaking trade training enters its final phase at the Sanatzar office in Jampur. Dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of women from District Rajanpur, this initiative has successfully engaged 33 skilled beneficiaries organized into two specialized batches of 16 and 17 participants. Throughout this intensive program, these artisans have refined their tailoring expertise and professional techniques to build sustainable livelihoods. This transformative journey is made possible through the collaboration of CHEF International and IRM, with the generous support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and in partnership with PTCL. As these women complete their training, they step forward with confidence—ready to contribute to the economic growth of their communities as independent, skilled professionals.

Don’t wait for a complaint—many children don’t realize their vision is unclear because they’ve never experienced what clear sight truly looks like. Early eye screening is essential to detect issues before they affect learning, confidence, and overall development. At CHEF-I, we believe every child deserves the gift of clear vision and a brighter future. Get your child screened early—because healthy eyes build strong beginnings.
