CHIP was honored to conduct a Disability Confidence Building Session for employers from the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, under the RISEE (Ready for Inclusive Sustainable Employment and Entrepreneurship) project, funded by the Standard Chartered Foundation and Sightsavers, organized by Abundance Business & Consulting, Lahore.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Imran Ahmed (Programme Manager), who led an engaging discussion on the importance of disability inclusion and the role employers play in creating equitable and accessible workplaces. Participants explored practical strategies to identify and address attitudinal, physical infrastructure, and communication barriers that often hinder the meaningful participation of persons with disabilities.
Creating an inclusive workplace goes beyond compliance, it is about recognizing talent, embracing diversity, and ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to learn, work, and succeed. Through such initiatives, CHIP remains committed to promoting inclusive employment practices and empowering employers to become paradigmatic of disability inclusion.
Together, we can build workplaces where ability is valued, diversity is celebrated, and no one is left behind.
