Community Access Culvert Bridge: Polaris Foundation (PRRF)

During the summer season, increased water flow in a tributary of the Kabul River near Dalazak village cuts off access to agricultural lands of the local community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, making large areas difficult to reach and cultivate.

On the request of the local community, Polaris Response & Resilience Foundation constructed an improvised RCC pipe culvert bridge, restoring access to these farmlands. The bridge now enables farmers, livestock, & small machinery to cross the water channel safely.

This small but impactful intervention funded by Polaris Systems LLP through PRRF has reconnected previously isolated agricultural land, enabling the community to resume cultivation supporting local livelihoods.
