President & Group Chief Executive Polaris Group, Sabbah Uddin, met with Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral Abid Hameed, HI(M), to explore avenues for collaboration in skills development, capacity building, and industry-oriented education.

The Polaris leadership team included Shahzada Bulbul Jamal Shah, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Group Director Projects; Hassan Raza, Director Polaris Global (USA); Ms. Sana Khetran, Head of Programs, Polaris Response & Resilience Foundation; and members of the core leadership team.

The meeting reflected Polaris Group’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry by connecting academic learning with practical skills, emerging market needs, and meaningful professional opportunities.

Polaris Group looks forward to building a meaningful, long-term partnership with Bahria University—one that strengthens academia–industry linkages, empowers young talent, and contributes to a skilled, future-ready workforce.

Polaris Foundation ( ) was invited to the National Consultation at Islamabad held to prepare National Policy on Mental Health (2026-2036). Head of Programs PRRF Polaris Foundation Ms.Sana Khetran and Hasan Raza Director Polaris Global (USA) represented the Polaris Group. The Polaris Foundation has also presented its position paper and have submitted its recommendations to the Ministry of Health in this regard.

Strengthening Public Health & Community Resilience

Dr. Minhas US Siraj, renowned public health expert & Member Technical, Medical Tribunal, Ministry of Law & Justice, called on the President of Polaris Group Sabbah Uddin in Islamabad.

With over three decades of experience in international aid and development, Dr. Siraj brings extensive expertise in public health, project design and implementation.

The President thanked and invited Dr. Siraj to contribute his valuable expertise to public health initiatives under the Polaris Response & Resilience Foundation (PRRF) as well. Ongoing PRRF projects and programmes were also discussed in the meeting.

Highlights of the Polaris Green ReLEAF Program in Azad Jammu & Kashmir:
With the support and participation of local communities, Polaris has planted more than 1 million trees across areas in AJK where forests had previously been cleared, helping restore degraded landscapes and strengthen local ecosystems.
