Meet Our Team | Board of Directors | One Step For Pakistan 🇵🇰

We are honored to introduce Brigadier (R) Ali Haq, a distinguished member of the Board of Directors at One Step For Pakistan.

With over 31 years of exemplary service in the Pakistan Army, Brigadier (R) Ali Haq held a wide range of command and staff appointments at both national and international levels. He joined the Army in 1989 and honorably retired on 31 December 2019. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College and the National Defence University, reflecting his strong professional and strategic grounding.

He represented the Pakistan Army as Director and Trainer in several joint military exercises, including Pak–China, Pak–Saudi Arabia, and the Regional Cooperation Exercise for Stability Operations (2015) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, conducted under CENTCOM. Internationally, he has also contributed as a speaker at multiple seminars, including UN-organized forums in Kenya (Nairobi) and Somalia, the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, and a presentation on Integrated Border Management in Vietnam.

In recognition of his meritorious and dedicated service, he was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).

His vast operational experience, strategic insight, and commitment to service bring exceptional value to our mission of youth empowerment and nation-building.

A Senior Auditor at AGPR Islamabad, he is currently serving as Drawing & Disbursing Officer (DDO) at the Secretariat Training Institute (STI), Islamabad. His professional career reflects strong expertise in public finance management, accountability, and institutional governance.

In addition to his public service, he is actively engaged in dairy farming entrepreneurship in Islamabad, demonstrating a practical commitment to economic development and sustainable livelihoods.

Driven by a strong sense of responsibility and patriotism, Asrar Shaheen is inspired to serve Pakistan through the platform of One Step For Pakistan, contributing his experience and dedication toward youth empowerment and nation-building initiatives.

We are pleased to introduce Capt. Rahat Mahmood Mirza, a distinguished member of the Board of Directors at One Step For Pakistan.

After completing his intermediate education, Capt. Rahat Mahmood Mirza joined the Pakistan Air Force as a fighter pilot, flying F-6 and Mirage-5 aircraft. He also served as an instructor at the PAF Academy for three years, contributing to the training of future aviators. He left the PAF as a Squadron Leader and subsequently served with the UAE Air Force as a flying instructor for four years.

He began his commercial aviation career in 1994, serving as First Officer and later Captain with leading airlines including Aero Asia, Shaheen Air, Airblue, and Flynas Saudi Arabia, flying the A320 for over eight years. He rejoined Shaheen Air from 2015 to 2018, further strengthening his professional aviation portfolio.

Beyond aviation, he is currently serving as Chairman of Haji Umer Din Welfare Trust, PWD Society, Islamabad, reflecting his continued commitment to social welfare and community service.

His extensive experience in aviation leadership, training, and philanthropy adds valuable insight and inspiration to our organization.
