10 June 2026 PDMA Sindh, Karachi FRDP Extends Disaster Resilience Program to Naushahro Feroze and Larkana Districts FRDP, along with implementing partners CESVI and Welthungerhilfe (WHH) attended a coordination meeting with PDMA Sindh officials to discuss the implementation of the BRAND 2.0 Project for strengthening coordinated efforts towards disaster preparedness, anticipatory action, and resilience building. The meeting was attended by Mr. Syed Shayan Shah, Director Operations, PDMA Sindh, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Assistant Director Operations, PDMA Sindh, Mr. Dayal Das, System Analyst, PDMA Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Khan, Climate and Environment Specialist (Consultant), PDMA Sindh, Ms. Isabel Bogorinsky, Deputy Country Director, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Mr. Babar Ali, DRR Adviser, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Mr. Humayoon Khan, Head of Programs, CESVI, Mr. Mansoor Baloch, Executive Director, FRDP, Mr. Zaheer Udin Babar Junejo, Head of Programs, FRDP The project is supported by the European Union Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) and is being implemented by CESVI in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), FRDP, and PDMA Sindh. This project is aimed at strengthening institutional capacities, reducing risks of disasters, and building disaster-resilient communities across Badin, Umerkot, Larkana, and Naushahro Feroze districts. More than 1.1 million people in the said districts are anticipated to benefit from enhanced preparedness systems, better early warning mechanisms, and efficient anticipatory actions.
