Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council and Inclusion and Empowerment Organization (IEO)

The Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council (PWCC), under the leadership of its Chairperson, Dr. Rukhsana Rajput, and Captain of the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team, Mr. Zeeshan Taqi, paid an important visit to the Inclusion and Empowerment Organization (IEO). During the visit, they held a fruitful and meaningful meeting with Mr. Lal Muhammad Baloch, Founder and President of IEO, along with members of the IEO team.

The meeting focused on several important matters related to the promotion of sports, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities. A major point of discussion was the upcoming Asia Cup and its preparations. The participants discussed the importance of proper planning, coordination, training, and support for the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team to ensure its strong participation in the prestigious event.

Dr. Rukhsana Rajput and Mr. Lal Muhammad Baloch also discussed opportunities for future collaboration between the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Council and the Inclusion and Empowerment Organization. Both leaders agreed that joint efforts and cooperation could play an important role in creating greater opportunities for persons with disabilities, particularly in the field of sports and social empowerment.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Rukhsana Rajput and Mr. Zeeshan Taqi highly appreciated the remarkable work of IEO for the empowerment and inclusion of persons with disabilities. They praised the organization’s dedication, commitment, and innovative approach, describing its work as mind-blowing and truly remarkable. On this special occasion, Dr. Zareena, Mr. Maroo, and Mr. Shaikh Abdullah Kohistani, Patron-in-Chief of IEO, presented traditional Sindhi Ajraks to the distinguished guests from PWCC, including Chairperson Dr. Rukhsana Rajput and Captain Mr. Zeeshan Taqi.

The visit concluded on a positive note, reflecting a shared commitment to inclusion, empowerment, disability rights, sports development, and future cooperation.

Inclusion and Empowerment Organization (IEO), in collaboration with Women Active Foundation and Royal Resorts, organized a memorable inclusive picnic for persons with disabilities from the IEO Independent Living Centre in Hyderabad.

Participants enjoyed a full day of recreation, including playland activities, sports, zoo visits, swimming, music, singing, games, and entertainment. Ms. Nazish Fatima, Ambassador for Persons with Disabilities, emphasized that access to recreation and entertainment is a fundamental right for everyone.

Mr. Lal Muhammad Baloch, Founder and President of IEO, thanked Mr. Peer Bux Rajar and the Royal Resorts team for their generous support and hospitality. Mr. Rajar praised the participants’ confidence, talent, and determination and pledged continued support for IEO.

The event concluded with an inclusive dinner and the presentation of traditional Sindhi Ajraks to distinguished guests. The picnic beautifully promoted inclusion, confidence, happiness, dignity, and equal participation.
