A few words on the tongue, yet immense in reward.

During the blessed first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, fill your days and nights with the remembrance of Allah:

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer.

“There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He has power over all things.”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“There are no days greater before Allah or in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so increase in them in saying: La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, and Alhamdulillah.”
--- Musnad Ahmad, Hadith no: 5446

He (ﷺ) also said:
“Whoever says this one hundred times in a day will receive the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be written for him, one hundred sins will be erased, and he will be protected from Shaytan until evening.”
--- Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith no: 3293

Let your tongue remain moist with the remembrance of Allah during these sacred days. May Allah accept our dhikr, forgive our sins, and draw us closer to Him. Ameen.

دنیا بھر میں اس سال یومِ عرفہ 26 مئی بروز منگل کو ہوگا۔ لہٰذا خود بھی روزے کا اہتمام کریں اور اپنے اہلِ خانہ کو بھی روزے کی ترغیب دیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو اس کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین

ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے امید رکھتا ہوں کہ عرفہ کے دن ۱؎ کا روزہ ایک سال پہلے اور ایک سال بعد کے گناہ مٹا دے گا“ ۲؎۔
