Heatwave Awareness and Relief Campaign
In this hot season, Syed Foundation, in collaboration with Sartiyon Sujag Federation, successfully organized a Heatwave Awareness and Relief Campaign in Village Allah Rakhyo Pathan and Village Khuda Dino Mirjat, Taluka Jhando Mari, District Tando Allahyar.
The campaign aimed to help local communities combat the extreme summer heat and protect themselves from heat-related illnesses. Awareness sessions were conducted to educate residents about heatwave safety measures, including staying hydrated, avoiding direct sun exposure during peak hours, wearing light clothing, and recognizing the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
As part of the initiative, cold drinking water and Jam-e-Shireen sharbat were distributed among vulnerable community members to help them stay hydrated and cope with the intense heat. The campaign particularly focused on supporting children, elderly people, daily wage workers, and other high-risk groups.
