🇵🇰✨ 1st Commemoration of Mark-e-Haq ✨🇵🇰
Village Development Welfare Organization (VDWO) proudly participated in the “1st Commemoration of Mark-e-Haq” organized under the platform of Wide Vision Civil Society Network (WVCSN) Hyderabad, where Mr. Arshad Mallah, President of VDWO, is also serving as the Convenor of WVCSN Hyderabad.
The program was held to pay tribute to the courage, sacrifices, and unwavering spirit of the armed forces and the people of Pakistan who continue to stand for peace, unity, and national sovereignty.

Representatives from different civil society organizations, youth leaders, social activists, and community members gathered together to express solidarity with the nation and honor the sacrifices made for the homeland. 🇵🇰

The event highlighted the importance of patriotism, national harmony, youth engagement, and collective responsibility towards the progress and stability of Pakistan. Such initiatives create awareness among youth and encourage communities to work together for peace, development, and a stronger future for the country. 🌱🤝

Empowering communities begins with empowering women. 🌱

Today, Village Development Welfare Organization (VDWO) successfully conducted a session on “Women’s Role in Peace-Building and Social Harmony” in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department Qasimabad. 🤝

We were honored by the presence of Assistant Director Ms. Sonia Talpur, whose support and engagement added value to the initiative. The session was further enriched by our guest speaker, Ms. Ambreen Mastoi, who delivered an insightful and focused talk on the role of women in promoting peace, tolerance, and positive social change.

Women and youth girls participated actively in the session, showing strong engagement and interest in building a more peaceful and responsible community. Their participation reflected the growing awareness and willingness among the younger generation to play a constructive role in society.

President VDWO, Mr. Arshad Mallah, also shared his perspective on the importance of this topic, highlighting how collective efforts at the community level can create lasting impact and strengthen social harmony.

The discussion brought together diverse voices, including local leaders, educators, and community members, who shared their experiences, identified key challenges, and explored practical solutions to promote mutual respect, tolerance, and resilience against negative influences.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment under the PVE/CVE framework to strengthen community awareness, encourage constructive dialogue, and build sustainable peace at the grassroots level.

On 1st April, the VDWO family came together to celebrate not just one, but two very special birthdays — our respected President Arshad Mallah and the Gs Abdul Rasheed Abro.

It was a beautiful moment of unity, appreciation, and togetherness. Celebrating both of them on the same day made it even more memorable, as we honored their presence, contributions, and the positive energy they bring to our organization.

Under the leadership of Arshad Mallah, VDWO continues to grow and create meaningful impact in the community. At the same time, Abdul Rasheed Abro’s support and dedication have always strengthened our journey and team spirit.

The celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and gratitude — a reminder that VDWO is not just an organization, but a family that values its people.

📍 Monthly EPI Review & RICC Meeting – Hyderabad
Monthly EPI Review and RICC Meeting was held at the DHO Office Hyderabad.
The meeting was chaired by the worthy District Health Officer, Dr. Pir Ghulam Hussain.
The meeting was attended by DFPs (EPI & PEI), DEOC Team, DSC, TFPs, DSVs, TSVs, DFC Vital, DFC IRD, and representatives of CSOs.
During the session, antigen-wise coverage was thoroughly reviewed, and effective planning was carried out to further strengthen EPI performance and improve immunization coverage across the district.
🤝 Village Development Welfare Organization (VDWO) also participated in the meeting.
President VDWO, Mr. Arshad Mallah, attended the session and reaffirmed VDWO’s commitment to supporting public health initiatives and community development.

Celebrating VDWO’s Anniversary — A Tradition of Culture, Learning, and Community Celebration.❤️ 🎉

Every year, 11 January is special for Village Development Welfare Organization (VDWO). We celebrate it not just as a birthday, but as a tradition a tradition of bringing people together, sharing culture, and learning from one another. 🎭

Like every year, this time too a large number of people joined us in our Mach Kachehri. The event carried a strong cultural touch, with a lively program featuring a renowned Sindhi singer, meaningful and humorous sketches, and short dramas that connected entertainment with awareness.🎗️

President Arshad Mallah gave the warm welcome to the guests. As a gesture of respect and Sindhi tradition, Ajrak was presented to the guests on behalf of VDWO President Arshad Mallah, Murtaza Hyder Mallah, and the VDWO team.

What makes these gatherings special is that they are not only celebrations. Through culture, dialogue, and creativity, we try to educate the community, raise awareness, and encourage youth to move forward, think confidently, and play their role in society.🎗️

This entire program was planned and arranged by the VDWO team, whose consistent efforts keep this annual tradition alive. Year after year, our aim remains the same: community learning, youth empowerment, and cultural preservation.✨

Village Development Welfare is honored to share that President, Mr. Arshad Ahmed Mallah, received an Appreciation Award under the Urban Food Production Project, an initiative focused on building resilience among poor households and youth in marginalized neighborhoods of Hyderabad, Sindh. This recognition was given in appreciation of the organization’s extraordinary support, service, and contribution to the successful implementation of the project.

The Urban Food Production Project has played an important role in strengthening food security, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and empowering communities at the grassroots level. Such initiatives reflect how collaboration between civil society organizations, development partners, and local communities can create meaningful and lasting impact.

On behalf of Village Development Welfare and all participating Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), we extend our sincere gratitude to the Research and Development Foundation (RDF) and Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) for their continued trust and coordination, and to Welthungerhilfe (WHH) for supporting community-centered development initiatives.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mr. Arshad Mallah, President of Village Development Welfare, delivered a speech expressing heartfelt thanks on behalf of all CSOs and highlighting the importance of unity, partnership, and collective responsibility in advancing inclusive and sustainable development.
