AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Following are the aims & objectives of “AL-REHMAT WELFARE FOUNDATION ”
(1).To work for the well-being of all people without any discrimination whatsoever of race, religion or creed at all times. (2).To take necessary steps for the enhancement of literacy rate by opening schools. (3).To promote, legal Aid, finance , establish, run, manage and maintain, after appropriate
approval, schools, colleges, medical colleges, universities/ higher educational institutions at such places as it may be determined and set up their campuses at the selected places and to introduce and maintain the highest possible academic standards for such educational institutions. (4).To establish, maintain or grant and to bone’s for the aged, orphanage or other establishment for the needy and help to the poor, needy and deprived people, orphans, widows and aged persons.
(5).To establish and develop institutions for the physically handicapped and disabled or mentally re****ed persons and to provide them education, food, clothing or other help.
(6).To establish, run , support and grant aid or other financial assistance to schools, colleges, libraries, reading rooms, universities, laboratories, research and other institutions of the like nature in Pakistan ( particularly in less privileged areas), for use of the students and the staff and also for the development and advancement of education and diffusion of knowledge amongst the public general.
(7).To provide professional trainings to educators through service learning projects and training programs on new and modern lines and to engage them to impart comprehensibly and efficiently up to date education to students so as to develop and encourage the intellectual, inventive, technical and professional capabilities of the students.
(8).To bridge the gender gap in girls education and to combat the problem of child labor in Hunza and GB.
9. To alleviate poverty through employment and entrepreneurship by ensuring greater opportunities for poor people particularly youth and women of Hunza to secure decent work and income over the life circle, contributing to virtuous circle of poverty reduction, sustainable development and social inclusion.
10. To grant relief and assistance to the needy victims during natural calamities such as famine, earth quake flood, fire etc. and to give donations and other assistance to installations, establishments for persons engaged in such relief work.
11. To grant aid or render assistance to other public charitable trusts or institutions and to promote child health and girl/women empowerment.
12. To work for social welfare of weaker sections of the society and provide trainings to the backward and poor classes to make them employable and to provide free legal advice and services to all those who need it and to fight for justice for men, women and children.
13. To work for the aid, release, rehabilitation and welfare of the illegally and unlawfully detained prisoners and to assist, support, help and or to facilitate poor and unfortunate girls in their marriage and/or to provide financial assistance in cash or in kind and to protect environment by planting trees, reducing pollution etc.
14. To provide drinking water, food, shelter, clothing to the socially backward and poor and to promote and advocate for peaceful working and living environment among individuals, groups and organizations and take steps to create peace and harmony among different tribes & sects.
15. To award from time to time prizes, in recognition and for the encouragement of best professionals in various fields.
16. To arrange & create recreational activities for the youth of Hunza and GB.
17. To conduct study on various social issues from time to time, gather data, and carry out research.
18. To encourage and support the role of social responsibility among students/youth of Hunza and GB.
19. To bridge the gap between two important pillars of nation, Community and Academia.
20. To help & support less privileged families in matrimonial activities.
21. To encourage, promote, support or arrange symposia, industrial academia linkage, seminars, workshops, lectures, classes, demonstrations and exhibitions to advance the objectives of Organization.
22. To increase the opportunities for dedicated students of GB to participate in high-quality, rigorous educational programs by reducing financial constraints through the provision of grants and scholarships.
23. To enrich the learning experiences of students of all fields and ensure that they have the opportunities and skills necessary to succeed in our own country and beyond.
