In thermoforming and vacuum moulding, heated thermoplastic material is carefully shaped over the modified cast using controlled heat and vacuum pressure. This creates a precise, customized shell designed around the patient’s individual anatomy and requirements.

It was an honour to welcome Mr. Atif Waheed Sahab, son of the renowned scholar Dr. Israr Ahmed, to the Clubfoot Center.

During his visit, Mr. Atif Waheed Sahab was briefed on the various activities and initiatives being carried out at the Clubfoot Center, including our efforts to provide rehabilitation, prosthetic and orthotic services, healthcare and support.

The visit was attended by Mr. Amir Sahab (Khudi Foundation), Dr. Ijaz Bashir, Mirza Ashfaq Bashir, Rizwan Sandhu, Qasim Bashir, and Ayisha Ayub.

The visit concluded with an inspiring and thought-provoking lecture by Mr. Atif Waheed Sahab. He expressed his appreciation and delight at the dedication, vision, and efforts being made to serve the community.

A meaningful visit, an inspiring message, and a reminder that sincere efforts for humanity can create a lasting impact.

As part of their orientation, students of Informatics College of Allied Health Sciences visited the Mahomed Gatrad Artificial Limb & Clubfoot Centre and Decent Welfare Society (DWS) to understand the vision, mission, and work being carried out to serve communities in need.

The students were introduced to the journey of providing accessible healthcare, rehabilitation, disability support, education, and community welfare services, and how dedicated individuals and organizations can create meaningful change with limited resources.

The visit was an opportunity for our students to see healthcare not just as a profession, but as a responsibility towards society—where knowledge, compassion, and service come together.
