Mehtab Ahmad Khan Barcha, a young scholar from Khyber, Gojal Hunza, has successfully completed his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft University in the Netherlands on a fully funded scholarship.

He had earlier received the President’s Gold Medal in Energy Systems Engineering from USP-CASE at NUST, recognising his outstanding academic performance.

During their visit, the group had the remarkable opportunity to observe and document five snow leopards in their natural habitat—an achievement that reflects both the rich biodiversity of the region and the success of ongoing conservation efforts.
