Peace through Education and Sports (PTEAS) is an independent multi – religious volunteer organization established with the purpose of peace building / peace keeping initiatives and alternative development approaches for the under – developing communities since 2000. PTEAS being truly community based was initiated from the side of sports coaches & athletes (men and women) and some socially qualifie

d teachers with strong community recognition those who accumulated their social concerns for just, peaceful and developmental paradigm at general public level. PTEAS has strong commitment of exploring / introducing local knowledge and strengthening diverse socio – cultural horizons through encouraging community opinion, mobilization level and social performances towards concepts of co – existence and non – violence, since its inception PTEAS had played vital role towards addressing social justice issues and increasing community awareness towards social spectrums and mainstream civic processes. PTEAS has strong conviction of “EDUCATION” and “SPORTS” being universal understanding that closures communities, develops transformation amongst violent conflicts, brings tolerance and sense of oneness along with being profound mission field for empowering most disadvantaged or neglected communities.
