"The greatest day of Hajj is the Day of Sacrifice, which is the tenth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah."

Literacy Awareness Society wishes all Muslims Hajj e Akbar Mubarak.
The Day of Sacrifice is called the greatest day of Hajj because during that night there is the standing at ‘Arafah and staying overnight in al-Mash’ar al-Haraam, and during that day there is the stoning of the Jamrah, offering the sacrifice, shaving the head, tawaaf and saa’i, which are all actions of Hajj. The day of Hajj refers to the time and the description of greatest refers to the actions done at that time.
On this day all Muslims around the world pray to Allah and beg for forgiveness. May Allah bless us all and forgive all our sins! Ameen

Mission of Literacy Awareness Society

1. Promoting education
We all are aware of the fact that the literacy percentage in Pakistan is very low. Thousands of children do not go to school. They have no choice but to help their parents in earning money and this is how child labour is also increasing with the increase of illiteracy.
The main purpose of LAS is to give awareness to the poor mainly houshelpers children, children selling things in the streets, people living on the roadsides etc. etc.

2. Quality of education is also an essential factor when it comes to learning. There is no use of sending any child to a school where the only thing they teach is cramming and writing down things they dont even understand. Practical implementation and benefiting society shall also be mentioned during awareness sessions and talks in LAS.

3. Hundred of children work and are the sole bread earners of their families. In this phase where our country is full of inflation labourers are suffering.
The aim of LAS is to give awareness and help such people in developing basic skills and start earning through the internet.
Many people do not know where to start but are determined to rise in society. In such cases only giving them a push and showing them the right direction is a blessing for them.

It is easy for us to just say such things but the planning and implementation is way harder. But never forget that nothing is impossible the word itself says Im Possible.
You only need genuine effort and har work with determination and soon we will succeed in our mission of educational empowerment.
Remember that even if one child starts learning because of your effort you have ultimately succeeded in your mission.
