Six years ago, a beautiful one-year-old Persian cat named Sonu came to Hope Source Welfare Foundation from Islamabad. Due to unavoidable circumstances, his family had to make the heavy choice to entrust him to our care.

When he arrived, Sonu was secretly fighting a severe, agonizing case of chronic Gingivitis. His mouth was filled with painful, bleeding ulcers that made eating a daily struggle. Our team stepped in immediately—clearing his infections, managing his pain, and giving him the specialized medical attention he needed.

Sonu didn't just recover; he became a permanent, deeply loved member of our foundation family. He spent six wonderful years surrounded by comfort, continuous care, and absolute love under our roof.

His original family is deeply thankful to us for providing Sonu with a permanent, safe, and happy sanctuary to live out his days.

True animal welfare isn't just about street rescues; it is about standing by animals and their families when they have nowhere else to turn. He spend 6 beautiful and memorable years with us. Rest in peace, sweet boy.

We encountered this stray dog in an absolutely heartbreaking state. He was completely immobilized, suffering from violent, involuntary muscle twitching and severe fits due to acute neurological distress. To make matters worse, his joints were dislocated, leaving him in a state of absolute agony.

We acted immediately. To ensure he received the right care, we ran emergency diagnostic blood tests and put him under the supervision of Dr. Fahad Ahmed. His specialized treatment plan included intensive daily neuro-injections and pain management to bring his violent spasms under control.

Over 5 consecutive days of critical veterinary visits and targeted medicine, his fits have finally been stabilized. He is currently recovering well and gaining his strength back.

We believe in complete transparency. Swipe through to view his official blood reports and the total veterinary bill of 5,600 PKR, completely sponsored by our foundation.

Critical neurological cases require immediate, expensive medical intervention. Your contributions are the only reason we can clear these bills and give these helpless street animals a second chance at life.

We received a critical report from Guru Nanak Pura, Faisalabad, regarding an abandoned working donkey left to deteriorate on the streets.

Our team immediately rushed to the location and found him in a horrific state. He was suffering from a massive, deep wound completely infested with maggots. The neglect was so severe and prolonged that the infestation had eaten through his flesh and veins, leaving the bone completely visible.

We immediately stepped in—cleaning the wound, administering emergency medical injections, providing pain management, and making sure he finally had access to food and comfort.

Tragically, he did not survive. The case was reported to us far too late, and his body simply could not recover from the extensive internal damage.

Animals are living, breathing souls—not disposable tools. Turning away and discarding them to face a slow, agonizing death on the street when they are no longer "useful" is the height of cruelty.

Please, do not abandon your animals when they can no longer work. If you see a creature in distress, report it immediately before it is too late. Rest in peace, buddy. We are so sorry humanity failed you.

We found these three tiny puppies abandoned near FCCI after they tragically lost their mother. They were weak, struggling to survive, and suffering from painful skin conditions and acne.

Leaving them behind was never an option. Our team immediately started a dedicated 1-week medical treatment program right on the streets. For seven straight days, we managed their recovery by administering T-Day syrup and applying Derma-Smooth lotion to soothe and heal their irritated skin.

The transformation was incredible. Once they fully recovered and their playful spirits returned, we put our adoption network to work—and it paid off beautifully.

Swipe to the end to see them inside their travel box, caught right at the moment they were heading out to their new life. They have officially been adopted together by a loving family. No more streets, no more pain.

Your support directly funds the medical lotions, syrups, and rescue drives that make these happy endings possible.

On Wednesday at 5:30 pm, while returning home from the AC office, we met a 10-12 year old boy who had escaped from a house where he was working as a child laborer. He was from Tandlianwala and was crying, asking us to take him home. We immediately went to Batala Colony police station and reported the case. The police connected us to the Deputy Director of the Child Protection Bureau, who asked us to wait.

We took the child home, fed him, and bought him some snacks to calm him down. He seemed happy after that. Later, a policeman called, saying the Child Protection Bureau had arrived to take the child. Ms. Rubina Iqbal promised our NGO could meet the child tomorrow, and Ms. Amina Alam, Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, offered her support.

We handed the child over to the Child Protection Bureau reluctantly. The next day, when we called Ms. Rubina, she refused to let us meet the child, saying they'd take custody and file an FIR against the parents and employer. Ms. Amina was uncooperative and hung up.

We approached the AC City cabin, who intervened and asked Ms. Rubina for the child's whereabouts. She said the child was in the Court of Session Judge Iqbal Haral. We went there and saw many children rescued by the Child Protection Bureau, who were attending school in the morning and working at night. The department's lawyer was pushing for custody and had filed FIRs against them.

The Session Judge was understanding. We requested him to drop the FIRs and return the children to their families, as they're their breadwinners and suggested to arrest middle man .The Judge ordered the arrest of the middleman who exploited these children and canceled the FIRs against the families, remarking that these children are hardworking.

My question is that if in situations of extreme poverty, why does the Child Protection Department detain children who are working to pay their school fees, without conducting a thorough inquiry or considering alternative solutions?"
At the end Hope source welfare foundation thanks to AC CITY FSD and Session judge iqbal for their best cooperation.

Soon we will share video of that child.
