Improving Access to Water Through H2O Water Wheel Distribution
Under the Heatwave Anticipatory Action 2026 project, implemented by Nari Development Organization (NDO) in partnership with Muslim Hands International and supported by the Start Network, a total of 260 H2O Water Wheels were distributed across five Union Councils of District Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah).
This intervention significantly improved access to safe water while reducing the physical burden of water collection, particularly for women, children, and older persons. By easing water transportation during periods of extreme heat, the initiative helped strengthen community resilience and supported the dignity and well-being of vulnerable households.
