Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Calgary, Alberta, earlier today for the second part of his visit to Canada. Accompanied by Prince Irfan and Prince Sinan, Hazar Imam was welcomed at the airport by Government representatives and a delegation of Jamati leadership. Later, Mayor of Calgary, Jeromy Farkas, presented Hazar Imam and the two princes with the city’s iconic white hats.

Tomorrow, Hazar Imam will meet with his Jamat from across the Edmonton and Prairies regions. Volunteers across the region have been working around the clock to prepare the Jamat and the venues for this week’s events - stay tuned for more.
