ISD & Hope For All Coordination Meeting | 22 June 2026

During the meeting, both teams reviewed the survey form and discussed improvements before its implementation. We also discussed strengthening coordination between ISD and Hope For All, future plans, and ways to work together on youth and community development activities.

Combine meeting with HopeForAll leaded by ANC and meeting with district Youth officer (9 June 2026)

Meeting Summary:

- The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Imad Khan, President of HFA.
- A constructive discussion was held regarding the previous day's incident. HFA representatives expressed their apology to the General Secretary. It was acknowledged that the matter resulted from an individual error made by the former President and should not be associated with ANC, ISD, or HFA as organizations. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of all parties to maintain professionalism, mutual respect, and effective coordination.
- The survey form was reviewed in detail. Discussions focused on refining its content, improving its effectiveness, and planning its implementation. Responsibilities for the remaining tasks were agreed upon.

Meeting with the District Youth Officer

- ISD and HFA representatives met with the District Youth Officer to discuss matters of mutual interest.
- Productive discussions were held regarding future youth initiatives, organizational cooperation, and opportunities for collaboration with local youth collectives.

Agreed Follow-Up Actions

- Complete the final revisions to the survey form and prepare an implementation schedule.
- Continue strengthening coordination and cooperation between ISD and HFA under the guidance of ANC.
- Maintain communication with the District Youth Officer to advance the agreed activities and identify any required support.

The meeting concluded successfully with a shared commitment to continued collaboration and the timely implementation of the agreed action points.

A productive meeting was held on 8th May 2026 regarding the registration process and future planning of the Initiative for Sustainable Development (ISD). 🤝

The session included discussions on membership documentation, different legal frameworks for NPO registration in Pakistan, and organizational planning. After detailed discussion and mutual consultation, members agreed to proceed under the Social Welfare Act as the most suitable option for ISD at this stage.

During the meeting, the registration process and overall framework were also shared with Hope For All Organization to help provide the right direction and guidance for their organizational development.

Members also discussed the upcoming 6-month action plan, focusing on future activities, collaboration opportunities, documentation, and community welfare initiatives.

Change happens when people come together. The demand for the KP Disability Act is not just for one group. It is for a better and fairer society for everyone.
Families, students, organizations, and communities all have a role. Talk about it. Raise your voice. Ask leaders what steps are being taken. Change begins when people care enough to speak.
Persons with disabilities do not need pity. They need rights, access, and respect. A strong law will not fix everything overnight, but it will be a big step forward.
We cannot keep waiting while people continue to struggle every day. Inclusion is needed now, not later.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

A just society gives equal chances to everyone. But in KP, many persons with disabilities still struggle to access basic opportunities. Whether it is transport, education, or jobs, the barriers are everywhere.
This is not just unfair. It is something we should not accept.
A proper Disability Act can help create equal opportunities. It can make public services accessible and ensure that no one is ignored because of a disability. It can also encourage workplaces to become more inclusive.
Inclusion is not a burden. It benefits everyone. When people are given a chance, they contribute, grow, and strengthen the community.
What we need now is urgency. Waiting longer only increases the gap.

We often talk about awareness. We post, we discuss, we agree that change is needed. But awareness without action does not improve lives.
In KP, many people understand the challenges faced by persons with disabilities. Still, without a strong law, nothing really changes. There is no system to protect rights or ensure equal access.
A Disability Act is more than just a document. It is a promise that everyone matters. It sets rules that prevent discrimination and ensures public spaces are designed for all.
Right now, many people depend on kindness instead of rights. That is not how a fair society should work.
We need to change our mindset. This is not about sympathy. This is about equality and respect.
Each of us can play a role. Speak up, share stories, and keep the conversation alive. Real change starts when people refuse to stay silent.

Breaking Barriers, Building Futures

Think about a student who wants to study but cannot enter the classroom. Think about someone skilled who is rejected from a job because of bias. This is not rare. It is happening every day in KP.
Inclusion means removing these barriers. Not only physical barriers like stairs without ramps, but also social barriers like judgment and discrimination. Without a proper Disability Act, these problems continue without any real solution.
A strong law can open doors. It can make buildings accessible, push companies to hire fairly, and support students in learning without limits. It can give people confidence to step forward and be part of society.

Inclusion is not a favor. It is a basic human right. Still, many persons with disabilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa face daily struggles in education, jobs, healthcare, and even simple public access. Every day without proper law means someone is left behind.
We have heard about the KP Disability Act for years. Meetings happen, discussions continue, but real action is still missing. This delay sends a painful message that inclusion is not urgent. But for those who are affected, it is urgent every single day.
A strong law can change lives. It can make schools accessible, create fair job opportunities, and protect people from discrimination. More importantly, it can give dignity and equal recognition to every individual.
This is not just the responsibility of the government. It is on all of us to speak up, to ask questions, and to demand better. Silence only makes the delay longer.
The truth is simple. We cannot wait anymore. Inclusion should be real, not just words.
