ZEEST FOUNDATION has helped over 300,000 people of different communities in Pakistan with special emphasis on women and children. We believe that by putting women at the heart of everything we do, we can stop most of the problems in our society before they start. Our aim is to empower women and provide resources and access for a better health care system so that they can prosper in this society. E
ducated women have better maternal health, fewer and healthier children and increased economic opportunities, furthermore it is more likely that the women will send their children through the same process as them. ZEEST FOUNDATION wants to decrease these stats and eventually bring an end to illiteracy, poverty and child labour by running institutions/Schools which helps people become educated and gives them awareness of their potential their rights and allows them to believe that sky isn't the limit. There are approximately 5.2 million orphan children in Pakistan and Thousands of children are abandoned every year in Pakistan and their number has increased in recent years due to strife which has become a major issue because of Military operations in Pakistan. Furthermore we want to set up more regular medicine camps, provide free medicines, free clinics and immunisation camps to immunise children against common childhood diseases and well nourish them because it's wrong for anyone to suffer or die from preventable disease.
