Proud Moment for Inclusion, Protection & Community Voice
Bahar Social Development Organization in collaboration with 30 CBOs, proudly participated in the Two-Day Training on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) for UNFPA Implementing Partners & PSEA Network Members, held on March 30–31, 2026 in Multan.
Under the leadership of our Managing Director, this marks a powerful step forward in strengthening accountability, protection, and dignity for all, especially as we raise our voice for the marginalised community. This is not just participation — this is a commitment to human rights, equality, and zero tolerance against exploitation and abuse.
🔴 Core Principles of PSEA
Zero tolerance for Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (SEA) — no second chances. Sexual activity with children under 18 is strictly prohibited. Exchange of money, employment, goods, or services for s*x is forbidden. No s*xual relationships with beneficiaries. Every humanitarian worker must report concerns and actively create a safe, respectful environment that prevents SEA.
💬 Our Commitment
“Imdad hamesha muft hoti hai” — aid must never come with conditions. We stand for dignity, respect, and protection of every individual. We are committed to raising awareness, ensuring safe reporting, and empowering communities to speak up against any form of exploitation or abuse.
🌍 About PSEA Network
Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is a global commitment led by the United Nations. The Inter-Agency PSEA Network Pakistan, active since 2018 with provincial chapters since 2023, focuses on survivor-centered response, safe reporting mechanisms, and accountability. Under the leadership of the Resident Coordinator and co-chaired by UNFPA & UNICEF, this platform strengthens coordination among implementing partners and organizations. Each organization contributes through dedicated PSEA focal points ensuring compliance, awareness, and action.
