Philanthropic Organisation established in the memory of Mohammed Ashraf (died 1982) as well as other family, friends and colleagues who have now left to meet their creator, and to use their good works, experiences, thoughts and values to make a positive contribution to the benefit of mankind. The Mohammed Ashraf Foundation’s principal goal is to improve the quality of life for nee

dy and poor communities by ensuring access to basic services during both in normal situations and in emergencies. MAF is committed to engage and mobilize local communities in building sustainable means of livelihood, social infrastructure and improved access to safe drinking water, sanitation, health care and education. MAF is guided by the core values of integrity, equity, transparency, accountability and a deep sense of self-help that inspires communities to work together for collective social action to change lives for the better. MAF works for medium-long term socio-economic upliftment by encouraging self-reliance and independence through microfinance schemes.
