سینئر صحافی شہباز رانا نے پروگرام میں تجزیہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ 2021 کے حساب سے ایک اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر کم از کم ایک لاکھ 75 ہزار 500 روپے تنخواہ لے رہا ہے جو کہ بیرون ملک سے پڑھا ہواہےاور پی ایچ ڈی کی ڈگری رکھتاہے اور اگر سالانہ اضافہ ہواہوتا تو ان کی تنخواہ آج 3 لاکھ 28 ہزار روپے ہوتی، ایک ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر 2 لاکھ 63 ہزار 250 روپے کی کم سے کم تنخواہ پر کام کر رہے ہیں، اگر ان کی تنخواہ میں ہر سال اضافہ ہو تا 4 لاکھ 92 ہزار روپے ان کی تنخواہ ہوتی ، پروفیسر 3 لاکھ 94 ہزار پر کام کر رہے ہیں اور اس حساب سے بڑھتی تو آج ان کی تنخواہ 7 لاکھ 38 ہزار ورپے ماہانہ ہوتی ۔ جو حکومت اور قوم اپنے پروفیسرز اور ٹیچرز کا خیال نہیں رکھتی تو آپ یونیورسٹی میں کیسے اپنے طلبا کو ان سے ٹرین کروائیں گے، وہ اپنے پیٹ کی طرف دیکھیں، اپنے بچوں کی فیسوں کو پورا کریں گے یا قوم کے بچوں کو ایمانداری سے پڑھائیں گے ، اگر یہی سلسلہ تو بحران آئے گا ، برین ڈرین پاکستان میں شروع ہے اس میں اور تیزی آئے گی جب یہ لوگ پاکستان سے جائیں گے تو پھر ہمارے پاس لوگوں کو ٹرین کرنے کیلئے لوگ نہیں بچیں گے ۔

🌐 Proud moment for COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore campus and the STEM Career Program!

🔖 Mr. Sualeh Asif, Co-founder of Cursor, is in the spotlight following reports of a $60 billion bid interest from the owner of X.

📝 Mr. Sualeh was trained for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus from 2016 to 2018, before pursuing his undergraduate studies at MIT.

✅ The Department of Mathematics at CUI, Lahore Campus serves as a national center for training Pakistan’s IMO team under the STEM Career Program—a joint initiative of HEC and PIEAS.

✅ This achievement highlights the strength of our mathematical training programs and the potential of our students to excel on the global stage.

✅ Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Mr. Sualeh represented the country in the International Math Olympiad (IMO) from 2016 to 2018. He was trained at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. In college, he started an AI-powered search engine company.

Since 2014, the Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Office of International Activities in Mathematics at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, has been actively involved in IMO training. Over the years, more than 40 training camps have been organized, reaching over 1,000 students, including 55 who went on to participate in the IMO.

This effort has been led by Prof. Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad (Coordinator NMTC), Dr. Hani Shaker (Deputy Coordinator NMTC), along with other dedicated trainers from the department. Their continued work as organizers and mentors has played a key role in building and sustaining this national initiative.

Overall, this work reflects a strong commitment to supporting young talent, where consistent mentorship and institutional efforts come together to promote excellence and strengthen the country’s future.

"فیصل آباد کی گلیوں سے عالمی مارکیٹ تک: ایک پاکستانی نوجوان جس نے دنیا بھر کے ڈویلپرز کا وقت بچانا سکھایا!" 🇵🇰💻✨
​کیا آپ کو معلوم ہے کہ ایک پاکستانی دماغ نے دنیا کے سافٹ ویئر انجینئرز کا وہ مسئلہ حل کر دیا ہے جس پر پوری دنیا سالانہ لاکھوں گھنٹے ضائع کر رہی تھی؟
​یہ کہانی فیصل آباد کے ایک عام سے ماحول میں بیٹھے اس نوجوان کی ہے جس کے پاس نہ کوئی بہت بڑی ٹیم تھی، نہ کروڑوں کا سرمایہ اور نہ ہی بیرونِ ملک کی شہریت۔ لیکن اس کے پاس ایک ایسی چیز تھی جو بڑے بڑے سورماؤں کے پاس نہیں ہوتی: "مسئلے کو جڑ سے ختم کرنے کی ضد"۔ یہ تذکرہ ہے فیصل قریشی کا، وہ نام جس نے ثابت کیا کہ اگر نیت سچی ہو تو فیصل آباد کی مٹی سے اٹھ کر بھی سلیکون ویلی کے معیار کو پیچھے چھوڑا جا سکتا ہے۔
​اصل کہانی تب شروع ہوئی جب فیصل نے ایک تکلیف دہ حقیقت کو محسوس کیا۔ سافٹ ویئر کی دنیا میں جب بھی کوئی کمپنی اپنی سروس (API) تیار کرتی ہے، تو اسے 10 سے 12 مختلف پروگرامنگ زبانوں کے لیے بار بار الگ الگ کوڈ لکھنا پڑتا ہے۔ یہ ایسا ہی ہے جیسے آپ ایک ہی خط کو 10 مختلف زبانوں میں ہاتھ سے دوبارہ لکھیں—وقت ضائع، توانائی ضائع اور ترقی کی رفتار سست۔ جہاں دنیا اسے ایک مجبوری سمجھ کر خاموش تھی، وہاں فیصل نے فیصلہ کیا: "میں اس فرسودہ طریقے کو بدل کر رہوں گا!"
​اور یہیں سے جنم ہوا APIMatic کا۔
اس نے ایک ایسا خودکار سسٹم بنا دیا جو ایک بار ڈیزائن کیے گئے کوڈ کو چند لمحوں میں دنیا کی تمام بڑی زبانوں کے لیے تیار کر دیتا ہے۔ جو کام کرنے میں ڈویلپرز کو کئی دن لگتے تھے، وہ اب سیکنڈوں میں ہونے لگا۔ یہ محض ایک ٹول نہیں تھا، بلکہ ایک "وقت بچانے والی مشین" تھی جس نے عالمی سطح پر دھماکہ کر دیا۔
​لیکن اس کامیابی کے پیچھے وہ خاموش جدوجہد تھی جسے آج ہم بھول جاتے ہیں۔ پاکستان کے وہی روایتی مسائل—بجلی کے جھٹکے، سست انٹرنیٹ اور ہر طرف سے ملنے والے مشورے کہ "بیٹا! یہ کام چھوڑو اور کوئی پکی سرکاری نوکری کر لو"۔ لیکن فیصل نے ان آوازوں کو اپنے راستے کی دیوار نہیں، بلکہ سیڑھی بنایا۔ آج دنیا کی بڑی بڑی کمپنیاں اور لاکھوں ڈویلپرز اس حل پر انحصار کرتے ہیں جو ایک پاکستانی ذہن کی تخلیق ہے۔
​یہ کہانی ہمیں کیا سکھاتی ہے؟
یہ ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ ہمیں دنیا تک پہنچنے کے لیے اپنا ملک چھوڑنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے، بلکہ ہمیں ایسا کام کرنے کی ضرورت ہے کہ دنیا خود چل کر ہمارے پاس آئے۔ فیصل نے ثابت کیا کہ اگر آپ کسی مسئلے کا حل نکال لیتے ہیں، تو سرحدیں آپ کا راستہ نہیں روک سکتیں۔
​آج 2026 میں، جب ہم سب ڈیجیٹل انقلاب کا حصہ بن رہے ہیں، تو ہمیں خود سے یہ سوال کرنا ہے: کیا ہم صرف ٹیکنالوجی کے 'صارف' بن کر رہیں گے یا فیصل قریشی کی طرح 'تخلیق کار' بنیں گے؟ یہ وقت اپنے لیول کو اوپر کرنے کا ہے، یہ وقت اپنی سوچ کی زنجیریں توڑنے کا ہے۔
​اگر آج فیصل آباد سے ایک نوجوان اٹھ کر پوری دنیا کے سسٹمز کو آسان بنا سکتا ہے، تو یقین مانیں، آپ بھی اپنے شعبے میں انقلاب لا سکتے ہیں۔ بس ہمت کریں، مستقل مزاج رہیں اور یاد رکھیں کہ پاکستان کا اصل اثاثہ اس کی زمین نہیں، آپ جیسا ٹیلنٹ ہے۔
​اگر آپ کو بھی فخر ہے کہ ہمارا ٹیلنٹ دنیا کو لیڈ کر رہا ہے، تو اس کہانی کو ہر اس نوجوان تک پہنچائیں جو کہتا ہے کہ "پاکستان میں کچھ نہیں ہو سکتا"۔ اسے بتائیں کہ راستہ موجود ہے، بس چلنے کا حوصلہ چاہیے!
