WORD OF THE DAY: HUMILITY
Very basic term, yet many don't understand and follow. 🙄
Humility is the virtue of recognizing that no man is greater than another in the sight of the Great Architect of the Universe. It is the willingness to learn, to listen, and to accept one's imperfections while continually striving for self-improvement. 🙌
In Freemasonry, humility teaches a Mason to avoid ARROGANCE, PRIDE, and SELF-GLORIFICATION. No matter what rank, title, office, or degree a Brother may hold, he remains a servant of the Craft and a student of its teachings. 🤝☝️
A humble Mason seeks not recognition for himself, but strives to let his actions, character, and good works speak on his behalf. He respects others, values different perspectives, and understands that true greatness is found in service, not superiority. 🥰
