WORD OF THE DAY: HUMILITY

Very basic term, yet many don't understand and follow. 🙄

Humility is the virtue of recognizing that no man is greater than another in the sight of the Great Architect of the Universe. It is the willingness to learn, to listen, and to accept one's imperfections while continually striving for self-improvement. 🙌

In Freemasonry, humility teaches a Mason to avoid ARROGANCE, PRIDE, and SELF-GLORIFICATION. No matter what rank, title, office, or degree a Brother may hold, he remains a servant of the Craft and a student of its teachings. 🤝☝️

A humble Mason seeks not recognition for himself, but strives to let his actions, character, and good works speak on his behalf. He respects others, values different perspectives, and understands that true greatness is found in service, not superiority. 🥰

WORD FOR TODAY: REGULAR & IRREGULAR

The terms "Regular" and "Irregular" Freemasonry depend on the standards and recognition policies of each Grand Lodge. 👊

A Grand Lodge may not consider another Grand Lodge as Regular according to its own rules. Likewise, the other Grand Lodge may also not consider the first Grand Lodge as Regular under its jurisdiction. 👍

In simple terms, one Grand Lodge can regard another as Irregular, while the other Grand Lodge may hold the same view in return. These terms are primarily about recognition and jurisdiction, not necessarily about the character or quality of individual Masons. 🤝💪

Example: GLP consider SIGLO as irregular, the same with SIGLO consider GLP as irregular.
