We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Kids Who Farm for being an essential part of our journey in making Project BINHI a success. Your generosity in sharing your knowledge, time, and passion for urban agriculture played a key role in shaping our project.

Through your hands-on guidance and inspiring advocacy, we were equipped with the tools and mindset to bring sustainable gardening practices into our own community. Your work continues to spark change and empower youth to cultivate not just plants, but purpose.

Thank you for planting the seeds that helped BINHI grow. This project wouldn’t have blossomed without you—and we look forward to seeing how we can continue to grow together.

SEEDLING SQUAD | Last April 26, we officially brought Project BINHI to life! The day was filled with learning, collaboration, and meaningful hands-on experiences as we introduced urban gardening techniques to our community.

Participants eagerly engaged in the activities, showing genuine curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the entire program. Many asked insightful and thoughtful questions about how they could adapt urban gardening methods at home or within their communities, sparking meaningful conversations about food security, environmental awareness, and resourcefulness.

This day marked more than just the completion of a project—it was the beginning of a growing movement toward sustainability and community resilience. We’re proud of what we’ve planted, both in soil and in spirit.
Thank you to everyone who supported and participated in making BINHI a success. Let’s keep growing together!

Let’s continue cultivating change—one seed, one pot, one community at a time.

SEEDLING SQUAD | On April 12, our team visited Kids Who Farm to deepen our knowledge of urban gardening as part of our preparation for the implementation of our project, BINHI.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in hands-on learning with passionate advocates who shared their experiences in sustainable agriculture. We explored a variety of urban farming methods tailored to limited spaces—such as container gardening, gardinators, and composting techniques—which are especially useful in city environments. The team from Kids Who Farm demonstrated how simple tools and recycled materials can be creatively used to build functional and productive garden setups, making urban gardening more accessible and environmentally friendly.

We also engaged in meaningful conversations about the importance of food security, youth involvement in agriculture, and the role of community-based initiatives in promoting sustainable practices. Their dedication to education and innovation truly inspired us to think critically about how we can replicate and adapt these strategies within our Project BINHI.

This enriching experience not only enhanced our practical skills but also reinforced our commitment to empowering others through gardening. With new knowledge and renewed motivation, we are more prepared than ever to launch BINHI and help cultivate greener, healthier urban spaces.

SEEDLING SQUAD | CALL FOR DONATIONS
Help us turn waste into a source of growth!

As part of our project “BINHI: Building Initiatives for Nature, Health, Innovation” we are calling on your kind hearts to donate used 6L or 10L plastic bottles and/or monetary contributions. These bottles will be recycled into planting containers while monetary donations will help us purchase seeds, tools, and other gardening essentials for our community gardening activity in Barangay Culianan.

This initiative tackles both malnutrition and improper waste disposal by teaching residents how to grow their own vegetables using sustainable methods. Your donated bottles will give life to seeds that will one day feed families.

Let’s work together in creating a greener, healthier future—one bottle at a time.

For bottle drop-off or inquiries, kindly contact:
Nai D. Jumala – 0927 231 8953
Abdel Mujeeb B. Salapuddin – 0966 852 8534

For monetary donations, you may send your support through G-cash:

Project BINHI is an educational initiative led by students with the goal of promoting awareness and practical knowledge about farming, plant care, micro farming, and urban container gardening to the residents of Barangay Culianan. The project is designed to refresh basic agricultural knowledge and introduce sustainable, space-saving techniques for growing food, especially in urban or limited-space environments. A key feature of the project is a hands-on workshop, where participants will learn how to create and use a self-irrigating bottle system—a simple, cost-effective tool that helps make plant care easier and more accessible.
