Update on the deck construction for the seniors area . A small portion was still unfixed due to lack of lumbers and corrugated sheets , tomorrow we will need to have the workers put sealants on the roof at the same time try to start constructing the cat house . We need to do this before the rainy sea*on comes again. Please help us with this we can’t stop since the shelter has so many things to accomplish yet for the rescues . Today Tiger also escaped when his leash broke it was good that the workers was able to get him back . We need to fix the steel matted cages before all rescues who are leashed will escape . We need
Your help since this is already beyond what we can afford . At the same time , we got 1 sack of rice today since they won’t have the supply for tomorrow but we need to pay this tomorrow . We cannot anymore add to my account in the office since I still need to pay 5 more sacks through my salary .

Good day can we help her find a home for these angels ? They were rescues of her mom unfortunately her mom passed away last June 4 and these dogs were left behind . The daughter is now asking help to have the 4 remaining dogs be adopted since she is going back to Manila for school this June 22. Can anyone help? Adopting even one dog will make a big difference. Today another portion of the enclosure of the seniors and those with disabilities at the deck will continue its construction . Yesterday they temporarily placed laminated sacks just in case rain will be pouring . We used corrugated sheets from the previous area of the stay in workers since we have very low funds.
Unfortunately, the total amount of the lumber we ordered increased due to the kind of lumber that was available, where 2x3x12 increased to p48
Per bft. Leaving our total amount instead of p11,400 to p12,418. Since we paid p7,000 and yesterday they got p450 we still have a remaining balance of p4,968. They are asking for payment today for the remaining balance. Yesterdays expenses :
Common nail - 4 kilos 3”, 3 kilos 4” =p700
Workers = 2,400 (including burrying of Lolo cat)
Lumber - 450 ( payment from our balances .
1 sack dog food - p1,600
Maxim pick up donations - 100
Our total funds raised as of 8:35am is

Please donate while we have a good weather and we can still do construction for the shelter . It is very difficult every time it rains esp when we go to the shelter area downhill. We are also very much worried of the cats that they are already staying for a long time in a cage . They need a space where they can walk comfortably. We are hoping to start the cathouse construction asap to avoid cats getting sick . Please donate if you can .

This is Goku one of our rescued senior dogs in 2021. During the earthquake on Monday , he managed to destroy his area at the deck and ran away. The farm was so huge and we don’t even know where to start looking . We have been looking among the forests worrying since it has been raining hard , we were thinking he was cold and he won’t have food to eat . He was missing overnight. Tatay Boy our helper at the shelter already alarmed everyone in the neighborhood to inform us or him if they will see Goku. Even the caretaker of the farm had also been looking for him. Yesterday while going home we have been calling for him among the forests hoping to find him, we have been praying that he will be brought back home to us. We were not able to sleep well last Monday , every time w wheat barkings we will go out and try to check if it was him. Yesterday (Tuesday) When we reached the shelter the workers at the construction site told us “Mam, kung mahanap namin yung a*o May merienda and they were smiling ? We saw hope esp when they told us “Talya abaho Mam “ eventually tatay and the workers had already found him and contained him in a cage. The farm caretaker saw him walking on the street just infront of the shelter and he right away called Tatay .He was even fed by Tatay Boy and gave him water because he said he was so hungry . Goku was full of dirt and he has insect bites on his tummy . This is one of the very thing that we fear the most when they escape . Today to ensure and double their safety we will need to install steel mattings over the galvanized interlinks to make it more secure . Unfortunately we need to leash Goku to prevent him from escaping again. Our area as we were telling everyone is not safe we don’t have concrete fences the rea*on why we wanted to construct the 3rd kennel because this will serve as a concrete fence for those who are leashed and caged. We are so thankful to everyone who showed concern and did their best to find Goku. Why we haven’t posted him missing because not everyone in the area are into gadgets and words of the mouth was faster . In return , we treated the workers with merienda as a gratitude . We really pray incidents like this won’t happen again .
