UNITED FOR A CAUSE | Luuk, Sulu 🇵🇭
A meaningful 2 days Medical and Humanitarian Mission was successfully conducted in Luuk, Sulu last June 13-14, 2025, through the unwavering collaboration and partnership of Kiwanis Club of Zamboanga Latin City, Pugad Lawin Philippines , UCCP DAVAO FELLOWSHIP MISSION headed by Ms. Susan Palad, D. Aesthetic Beauty Lounge led by Ms. Donna Nasilin, Venus Salon and Barbershop, The Climbing Puppeteers and Friends, 101st Infantry "Sajahitra" Battalion , 1102nd Infantry Brigade, 15th CMOBn, 545th Engineering Battalion, MSOC, CGS EASTERN SULU, CGNS-SWM, MEDS-SWM, SOG-SWM, Bureau of Fire Protection Luuk, Local Government Unit, Luuk District Hospital, Rural Health Unit and committed stakeholders and volunteers who traveled from different regions of the Philippines to serve.
With hearts full of compassion, our team was able to extend essential medical services, relief assistance, and a message of hope and solidarity to communities in need. This mission would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of donors, and the selfless efforts of our partner organizations who gave their time, resources, and expertise to make this outreach a success.
Our deepest gratitude to Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao Commander Commodore Marco Antonio P Gines (LLM) PCGA for his full support for this mission. A special thank you as well to BRP Tubbataha 4401 Brp Tubbataha for providing safe and secure vessel transportation, which played a vital role in bringing our team to Sulu.
Sincere thanks to Mayor Macky Arbison for the warm hospitality and for generously sponsoring the food and accommodation of the entire mission team. We are also truly grateful to KAPUSO Partylist Congressman Munir Arbison for providing essential medicines for the people of Luuk and Board Member Nan Arbison and wife Ms. Fhaty B Halipa for the support.
Much appreciation to Ms. Esper Fox for donating reading eyeglasses, and to Ms. VC Ortega who sponsored the free haicuts to the community together with Mr. George Lozada Adion, Mr. Spencer Olin, and Mr. Jonathan Morales
Huge thanks to Ms. Leah Datugan, Ms. Katrina Aramain, PCGA 305th Squadron and everyone who contributed slippers for children — bringing comfort with every step.
Special thanks to Pugad Lawin Philippines for donating school supplies, helping us support the education of young learners in Luuk.
Deepest gratitude to Ms. Susan Palad and her team for providing 52 boxes of toys, goodies, and other essential needs, bringing smiles and joy to many children.
