We have successfully wrapped up the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) Enrollment & Updating Session for our dedicated local fishermen and fisherfolk in Barangay Uacon!

A big thank you to all the fisherfolk who came out to register and update their profiles.

Keeping these records updated is a crucial step to ensure our local sector gains access to essential government support and services, including:
✅ Fuel subsidies and vouchers
✅ PCIC Calamity, Crop, and Vessel Insurance
✅ Free fishing gears and equipment distribution
✅ Sustainable livelihood and assistance programs from the DA and BFAR

BCDA Inc. participates in BFAR-FISHCORE 2.2 Benchmarking Activity in Dagupan, Pangasinan.

To further strengthen the capacity and technical knowledge of its members, the Bagwe Community Development Association, Inc. (BCDA Inc.) joined a three-day benchmarking and study tour from June 9-11, 2026.

The initiative, under the BFAR-FISHCORE Project 2.2, focused on visiting various established fishery processing facilities and observing leading aquaculture practices in Dagupan. This collaborative effort was fully supported by the Municipal Agriculture Office and the Provincial Agriculture Office, ensuring strong institutional alignment for upcoming community livelihood projects.

The valuable insights gathered from this benchmarking activity will serve as a foundational blueprint for BCDA Inc.’s future enterprises, aiming to elevate local fishery products and create sustainable economic opportunities for the youth and fisherfolk in our community.🐟👑
