Isang Kasaysayan sa Baybayin Pagpaparangal sa Unang Lakambini ng Baybayin ng BCDA Inc. CRISHA MAE A. HERMOGINO

Hindi lamang ito simpleng pageant o kompetisyon ito ay isang makasaysayang hakbang para sa pagkilala sa lakas, galing, at boses ng kababaihang mangingisda sa ating bansa.

Sa kauna-unahang Women Fisher Congress, buong-giting na inirepresenta ng ating kababaihan ang BCDA Inc. at nag-iwan ng markang hindi malilimutan 3rd Place National Lakambini ng Baybayin

Sa makasaysayang pagtitipong ito ng mga kababaihan ng karagatan, ipinamalas ng ating Lakambini ang tunay na kahulugan ng ganda na may layunin isang ehemplo ng talino, dangal, at dedikasyon sa pagtataguyod ng sektor ng pangingisda at ng ating komunidad.
Ang tagumpay na ito ay pagpapatunay na ang boses ng kababaihan sa baybayin ay naririnig, kinikilala, at nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa buong bansa.
taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating kinatawan para sa walang-kapantay na dedikasyon, at sa lahat ng nakiisa, sumuporta, at naniwala sa makasaysayang laban na ito. Ang panalong ito ay para sa bawat babaeng mangingisda na patuloy na nagtataguyod ng ating mga baybayin!

Hotel Seoul, Clark, Pampanga | August 5–7, 2026

BCDA Inc. member Lourdes Ednalan joined the 3-day Orientation and Hands-on Training on Beneficiary Assessment (BA) Tools and Capacity Development Plan Formulation.

This workshop supported by The World Bank and the FISHCORE Project aims to strengthen local capabilities and strategic planning for coastal resource management and community support.

We have successfully wrapped up the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) Enrollment & Updating Session for our dedicated local fishermen and fisherfolk in Barangay Uacon!

A big thank you to all the fisherfolk who came out to register and update their profiles.

Keeping these records updated is a crucial step to ensure our local sector gains access to essential government support and services, including:
✅ Fuel subsidies and vouchers
✅ PCIC Calamity, Crop, and Vessel Insurance
✅ Free fishing gears and equipment distribution
✅ Sustainable livelihood and assistance programs from the DA and BFAR

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Candelaria and the local Barangay Council for making this initiative possible.

To continuously support our local fishing community and boost sustainable marine livelihoods, the Local Government Unit of Candelaria, Municipal Agriculture Office in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), successfully led the distribution of essential fishing gears to the members of BCDA Inc. and the fisherfolks of Barangay Uacon.

The successful conclusion of the five-day Financial Management Training, held from June 22 to 26, 2026, at the Travellers Hotel in Subic, Zambales, marks a meaningful milestone in our journey toward organizational integrity and sustainable growth.

By immersing themselves in the vital disciplines of maintaining accurate books of accounts and preparing financial statements, our dedicated participants have strengthened their capacity for transparent fiscal stewardship and informed decision-making.
This intensive program was far more than a technical seminar; it was a profound investment in our shared future, equipping us with the tools necessary to safeguard our community's resources with the utmost care.
