September 5, 2026 | San Pablo City, Laguna

JCI Catanduanes brought its voice to the 4th Area Council Meeting of Area 3, held in San Pablo City, Laguna, as JCI leaders from across the area gathered for an important day of leadership, collaboration, and service.

Representing JCI Catanduanes were Chapter President Hon. Jose Paolo P. Teves III and Charter President Joshua O. Tadoy, who attended in his capacity as Area Director for International Affairs.

The Area Council Meeting provided an avenue for Area 3 leaders to come together, discuss organizational matters, share updates, align on upcoming initiatives, and strengthen coordination among chapters. Beyond the formal discussions, the gathering also created opportunities for leaders to reconnect, exchange experiences, and build stronger relationships across the area.

For JCI Catanduanes, being present in these Area engagements means staying connected to the larger JCI movement while bringing the perspective and experiences of our chapter to the table.

As Area 3 continues to move forward, JCI Catanduanes remains committed to leadership that connects, collaboration that strengthens, and service that creates impact.

16 August 2026 | Myanmar

As part of his ongoing work as Development Officer of the JCI Asia-Pacific Development Council (JCI APDC), Joshua O. Tadoy, Charter President of JCI Catanduanes, traveled to Myanmar for JCI APDC Mission 1, bringing with him the spirit of connection, collaboration, and leadership that continues to take him beyond borders.

One of the highlights of the mission was the International Business Matching & Networking event organized by JCI Mandalay, bringing together Myanmar entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, and international delegates for meaningful conversations and opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

Together with fellow JCI APDC Council members and Development Officers from the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Cambodia, Joshua took part in an exchange of ideas, experiences, and regional opportunities—strengthening the connections that make the Asia-Pacific JCI network truly global.

For JCI Catanduanes, this is another meaningful chapter in CP Josh's continuing journey as he carries his work beyond the chapter and into the wider Asia-Pacific JCI community.

The mission continues. The connections grow. And from Catanduanes, the journey reaches farther. 🌏

JCI Catanduanes joined fellow Jaycees from 14 sister chapters across the Philippines for a meaningful and dynamic Joint General Membership Meeting hosted by JCI San Juan Pinaglabanan at Kyodo Lounge & Bar on January 23, 2026.

Representing JCI Catanduanes was Chapter President Joshua O. Tadoy, on behalf of President Jose Paolo P. Teves III, accompanied by Chrislyn M. Traqueña.

The gathering also welcomed JCI Marina of Singapore, the international sister chapter of JCI San Juan Pinaglabanan, adding an international dimension to an evening filled with collaboration, shared insights, and strengthened camaraderie.

For JCI Catanduanes, the gathering was an opportunity to connect with fellow JCI members, exchange experiences and best practices, and explore possibilities for future collaboration. More than the discussions and chapter updates, it was a celebration of the relationships that make the JCI movement stronger.

JCI Catanduanes, represented by Executive Treasurer Jessamae France B. Monjardin, joined the DOST-Catanduanes Stakeholders Consultation Meeting for the DOST Innovation Hub (I-Hub) Program held on June 4, 2026.

The consultation brought together representatives from government agencies, academe, business organizations, innovators, and community partners to explore opportunities for collaboration and strengthen support for innovation and entrepreneurship in the province.

The discussions provided valuable insights into the emerging startup ecosystem in the Bicol Region, the role of innovation hubs, and the importance of connecting stakeholders to help turn promising ideas into sustainable and impactful enterprises.

For JCI Catanduanes, being part of this conversation reflects our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and youth-driven entrepreneurship—helping create opportunities where Catandunganon ideas can grow, connect, and make a difference.

LEADING FOR IMPACT ACROSS BORDERS.

On August 15, 2026, at Myanmar Imperial College, Joshua O. Tadoy, JCI Catanduanes Charter President, Certified Area Trainer, and Asia Pacific Development Council (APDC) Development Officer, served as one of the trainers for LEAD FOR IMPACT, a learning session organized by the JCI Asia Pacific Development Council (APDC).

Together with Development Officer Edward, CP Josh facilitated sessions on Membership Growth Strategy and JCI Discover, sharing insights on building stronger organizations, engaging future leaders, and creating sustainable membership development programs.

The training brought together participants in a meaningful exchange of ideas, where questions, reflections, and shared experiences enriched the discussions and strengthened the understanding of effective membership growth and JCI opportunities.

JCI Catanduanes takes pride in seeing its leaders contribute beyond local boundaries—sharing knowledge, inspiring action, and helping empower fellow JCI members across the Asia-Pacific region.

Because leadership creates greater impact when knowledge is shared and opportunities are opened for others to grow.

KNOWLEDGE IS PART OF THE IMPACT WE CREATE.

On September 12, 2026, JCI Catanduanes, through ISLE Academy—its training arm, conducted a learning session on Antimicrobial Stewardship via Zoom, led by Director for Business Development Russel G. Santos, RPh., a Registered Pharmacist and Entrepreneur.

The session provided an engaging space for members to explore responsible antimicrobial use, antimicrobial resistance, and the importance of informed health decisions. Participants actively engaged in the discussion, raising questions, sharing insights, and taking part in a meaningful exchange of ideas throughout the session.

More than a professional learning opportunity, the session equipped JCI members with knowledge they can bring beyond the organization—to make informed choices, counter misinformation, and promote responsible practices within their communities.

EMPOWERMENT THROUGH ENTERPRISE!

On September 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM via Zoom, JCI Catanduanes joined the Zoom Forum hosted by JCI Iloilo and JCI Chocolate Hills under the JCI In Business National Program, entitled “Empowerment Through Enterprise: Fostering Sustainable Communities via Civic Leadership & Legal Protection.”

The session explored how entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and legal awareness can empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create opportunities toward a more sustainable future.
