The truest and best thing to a settlement is the fact that they have to be willing and able to give up their pride for their own good.. today both sides agreed to settle their disputes and bring back peace and prosperity amongst themselves. They both agreed to end their differences in their own way….
Dialogue is the key to the success of a peaceful resolution of conflict.

Fourty years ago they were all in a different place because of their grudge. They’ve been living in a world where they don’t have any peace of mind or anything to do around them. Conflict may not always have a positive impact but it’s a great opportunity to make a difference and help people understand the importance of the relationship between families and or the community where we live.

We would like to acknowledge the support of MPOS, MNLF, MP Hamid Malik, Sulu PPO,Elders and the Sulu Ulama Council for peace and development. We are profoundly grateful for all the efforts and contributions that you have put into this noble cause.

36 years in conflict,both families were separated by their own grudge.
This settlement was a concerted efforts by the MNLF special mentioned to commander Alih,other elders of both families and the MPOS.

Families ended their grudge and finally united after 36 long years until this last february 01,2026. Generation after generation their conflict remained unchanged and many from their young childrens and grand children were not familiar with the faces of their elders.

The successful mediation underscores the vital role of the 1103 Brigade in fostering peace, Unity’, and stability in the area.

Today marks their formal end of the grudge between two feuding families from Lower Laus, Talipao and Langhub, Patikul, Sulu. The amicable settlement was held at the headquarters of the 1103 Brigade and was spearheaded by the officers and commander of the said Brigade through its peace and conflict resolution initiative.
The settlement reflects the collective decision of the families to abandon hostility and move forward with harmony In the interest of their communities and future generation.

We would like to thank the 1103 kalis Brigade who made this possible and for sincerely
