𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻?

“The best remedy for a sick church is to put it on a missionary diet.”

A healthy church is not only one that gathers. It is also one that goes.

When we look beyond ourselves, serve beyond our comfort zones, and bring Christ’s love to those in need, our hearts are changed. Mission gives the church purpose, compassion, and a reason to serve.

Maybe the answer is not simply filling more seats inside the church. Maybe it is sending more people beyond its walls. ✈️

A church that serves stays active.
A church that goes continues to grow.
A church on mission reflects Christ. ❤️

Our time is limited. Our opportunities are temporary. The people we meet, the places we go, and the resources God entrusts to us can all become part of something that lasts far beyond this life.

We may not all be called to the same mission field—but 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.

A kind word.
A helping hand.
A prayer.
A sacrifice.
A life surrendered to serve.

One day, much of what we spend our lives chasing will fade away. But what we do for Christ and for others in His name carries eternal significance. 🌎✝️

“The mark of a great church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity.”

A great church isn’t measured only by how many gather inside its walls, but by how many are willing to 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺—to serve, to sacrifice, to reach the unreached, and to bring the love of Christ where it is needed most.

Because the mission of the church doesn’t end at the doors.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀. ✈️

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿. 🙏💙

Five months ago, Glean Carl Acosta and his family began serving in 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗴-𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻—going from house to house, listening to people’s stories, and doing medical missionary work.

What they discovered was heartbreaking: people who had been living with illnesses for years, families with limited access to healthcare, and a community with needs that could not simply be met overnight.

So they prayed.

And then came a simple thought:

“𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲?”

What happened next is a beautiful picture of what God can do when people are willing to serve.

With the help of community leaders, barangay officials, volunteers, medical professionals, and PAMAS, that simple prayer became a reality. Almost the entire community was reached, and people who had been suffering for years finally received care, relief, and—perhaps most importantly—a reminder that they were not forgotten.

What started with 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 became a mission made possible by many hands.

This is what mission looks like.
🤝 People coming together.
🙏 Prayers becoming reality.
❤️ Love becoming action.

And this is only one story.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀? ❤️‍🔥

We don’t just become better Christians—we become more willing to 𝗴𝗼, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.

“The spirit of Christ is the spirit of missions. The nearer we get to Him, the more intensely missionary we become.”

The closer we walk with Christ, the more we begin to see people the way He sees them. His compassion becomes our compassion. His mission becomes our mission. His love moves us beyond ourselves and toward those who need hope.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳? ❤️‍🩹

We wouldn't hide a cure from someone who desperately needs it.

So how much more should we share the greatest hope we have—the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ?

The gospel is not something meant to be kept within the walls of a church. It is good news meant to be shared, carried, and lived out—especially among those who have yet to hear it.

Through every mission flight, medical outreach, community project, and act of service, PAMAS Mindanao seeks to bring more than physical healing. We want people to encounter the One who offers eternal life.
